But I'm enjoying it now. Something about the third epi clicked with me. I can't say I'm thoroughly into it, but at least now I can see some promise. |
That's exactly what happened to me! The first couple episodes I'm thinking, "Where is this going?" But once I got a feel for it, I was along for the ride.

Actually the word "exploitative" is more telling.
I think I won't watch Episode 9 at all, save for the carry over from Episode 8... The last half will be like what we've seen in the first two episodes: Excess.

I've been plowing through so many mediocre shows lately I figured I had to take drastic measures. So I pulled out Second Chance and started it last night.

Even saddled with child actors, I figure you can't go wrong with a Misako Tanaka comedy. _________________ Manga is to Literature

True.
But in that pic, she has the phone to her ear... Unless that's a new way of texting that I was unaware of.

I don't know why I never watched it before! So good!

STILL waiting for the subs for the special. But the subber has returned from wherever he was and promised to finish it... eventually. It's a great show though!
OT: Koshonin Ep. 3 & 4. Another good police drama Except I noticed I spelled it "Konoshin" when I authored it to DVD

I'm watching the first series.
It's really hit and miss with me. Some episodes are grand, and others I get bored... _________________
