I finished Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta Koto. It was very good. Thanks, cori.
Yay, glad you liked it.
On topic: Following Wynter's lead and shin2's recommendation, I started on Sweet Home. I'm only on the first episode, so it seems ok so far. Only thing I can see that would irritate me is that Fukaura Kanako is in it. (She was so easy to hate in Watashi no Aozora that I still dislike her.) _________________

LOL! She may irritate you in this drama as well. Personally I thought she was one of the best fleshed characters, but she is annoying. Which is fitting. _________________

Yeah, just her talkative, nosey attitude in the first few segments with her in it was enough to make me irritated. Funnily, I can't differentiate her from Suzuki Kyoka (that bitch in Karei naru Ichizoku) so I thought it was Suzuki at first. _________________

Kimi ga oshietekureta koto episode 3
I like it a lot. Now the long wait for the next episode. At the current rate, lucky if I download the rest of the series this month.
I found the name of the song right at the start of Kimi ga oshietekureta koto. It's "Sometimes" by Donna Williams, who is autistic herself. Cori, I noticed that you wrote that this is probably your favourite series. FYI, and in case others are looking for it too.

Finished ep1 of Saito San Too early to form an opinion about the drama but, boy, Mimura is completely different from Medaka!! When did the person I so easily dismissed in Fireboys turn into an actress???

I'm watching the first series.
It's really hit and miss with me. Some episodes are grand, and others I get bored...
Heresy! Lol, no, I loved all of the first series, sorry you are not enjoying quite so much.
I'm thinking I should finish Yame Onna Kabe Onna before going onto another drama, as I've seen about 3 episodes. It's a dumb series, but I kinda like it.

Watched the first ep. of Galileo last night. I have to be honest, I wasn't terribly impressed.. well except, perhaps, by Kou's eyes
I mean, it wasn't terrible at all.. it just wasn't all that interesting - too much manufactured tension. I'll keep at it though - you guys generally gave it pretty good reviews if I recall _________________

It's come around in the second half, FOR SURE. I think all the characters have kinda grown on me now. I'm on epi 10 and for the first time since I started, I can't wait for the next episode.
I think I had to find my niche, which surprisingly has ended up being Hosho Mai. I hope she's in the other ones too. _________________

Yes she is! That's the great thing about the sequels, they keep all the original actors and just build on what went on before. I forget, did Shomuni 1 have the episode where Tsukuhara's Dad shows up? That is one of the best episodes of the entire 3 series! A classic miscommunication comedy of errors!

LOL! Yesh, that was a grand episode. I also really enjoyed the disaster drill epi and fortune telling eps. SO hilarious. I forgot to mention that I'm also a huge fan of Toda Naho's. She's prolly my fav right now! _________________

Watched ep. 4 of Galileo - I'm really digging the music.. but super tired of the montages of "science" - ooh he's so smart we couldn't possible understand.. so we'll show some quadratic equations and Pi a few times and the audience will be dumbfounded.
Reminds me of Arthur C. Clarke: "Any sufficiently advanced technology (science) is indistinguishable from magic".
You'd think it's a show about 'revealing the magic' so maybe we could do without the 'you're so simple you couldn't possibly get it' montages.
It's really funny how Japanese television still revels in simple showings from the graphics department where I think here the goal is to seemlessly integrate CG effects and camera work to make the show seems as realistic as possible. Whereas, the big flashy CG-for-CG-sake sequences seem very early 90s in American TV terms... _________________

I finished Unfair. Wow, the ending left me totally floored. I didn't expect that. Then again, I'm a sucker for plot twists like that. I'm downloading the movie so I'm just waiting for that to finish.
Now I'm starting on Akihabara@Deep. I heard it was funny and wanted to see for myself. _________________

Watched the first three episodes of Medaka tonight and I have to admit, not bad at all for the rather basic premise we've seen in GTO & Gokusen. Loving the theme song and the cast itself. Kinda sad to see that on the D-Wiki page that it struggled around an 8% share (my money's on the lack of a-listers, a shame really... ).

Finally caught up with Last Friends today. I couldn't wait till the hardsubs were available so I just watched it on my laptop instead. I guess I can start posting and reading the Last Friends thread. One complaint though--it's very annoying how they keep on changing the episode count. Make up your mind, people! _________________

I think we've all resolved that it'll be over whenever it's over. We obviously have no idea when that will be... even if we can be reasonably sure within +/- 5-13 episodes... <sigh> _________________
