I can't wait to see the last episode either... for I think this show has gotten far too much "press time" here. I sincerely hope the future brings far more worthwhile things to be debating here.
I'm not saying that we didn't get anything done here - I just think our forum conversations ended up being richer than the drama and that's kinda sad, considering this one was trying to be... well something deeper than it ended up being. _________________

I for one blame a certain-someone's Juri fanaticism for that one!

ryo sure is creepy when he smiles like that <shudders> he looks better when he maintains his stony expressionless face like in 1 litre of tears (now I know why he didn't smile in that dorama! he didn't want to scare his fans! )

Michiru is a stupid b***h. Why the hell did she go to Sousuke's apartment ? Did she forget he's a psycho ??? Was she really that stupid to believe all he wanted was to give her things back ? If so, I don't feel sorry for her anymore. And when she said something like "I'll stay with you if you stay away from my friends", it totally cracked me up. Didn't she know he would attacked them if he wanted to no matter what ? WOMAN'S STUPIDITY IS BIGGER AND DEEPER THAN THE UNIVERSE.
.
well is basically what we all say i guess
but if that what she wants that what she got huh

A Last Friends Movie?
---------------------------------------------------------
(Source: Entame) Osaka Sports reported that the decision to make a movie-version of popular J-Dorama "Last Friends" has been made! The dorama's themes are concerned with modern-day social problems like child abuse, domestic violence and homosexuality, and started out with a viewer's rating of 13.9% (for the first episode) and peaked at 20.7% in the second-last episode last week, pulling ahead of KimuTaku's CHANGE. (The last episode airs tonight.)
Related personnel commented that "nobody had thought that Last Friends would be able to rake in higher viewer's ratings than KimuTaku's CHANGE. Although the 19th (of June) was meant to be the last episode, we suddenly had a phone call asking us to add on a special episode/version of Last Friends, in the way that KimuTaku's HERO was made into a movie."
Apparently plans for the movie are already underway. Following in the steps of "Journey to the West" and "HERO", it's been said that the transition from the small-screen to the big-screen has rarely seen failure.

Heh...But think of it this way. Most of our complains for this show is directed at Michiru and Sousuke. With Sousuke now dead, the movie might focus more on the rest of the characters mainly Ruka and Takeru and of course the very underdeveloped Eri.It might turn out to be better than the drama itself.Another way is to develop Sousuke's character,so that it allows us to understand his actions and behaviour a little more. But of course, this can all be wrecked if the writers decide to continue with their story of DV by giving Michiru another guy like Sousuke.
