Hehe.. no, the whole terrorist fist jab comment.. it'd be cool if he did a Nodame commentary
Stewart doing a Nodame commentary? I'd love to see that.
After the dance-off with Rain, and some random clip of Morning Musume shown a while back, I would not be surprised to see a clip of Nodame on The Colbert Report though

Finally watched Kagayaku-Onna. I usually pass on these types of programs, but everyone here has talked about how insightful it is of Juri-chan. I thought it was very good because it was simple. Celebs tend to turn programs like these into personal whine sessions, but Juri-chan had a much smaller and personal approach. She didn't wax philosophy or try to right the wrongs of the world; she simply answered questions and reacted to what was happening around her. There was a definite sense of modesty and "knowing her place in the picture" that makes her all the more attractive. A lot of "cute" moments sprinkled throughout. You even see some "Nodaminess" now and then. A must-see if your a fan of hers.

It's pretty much a consensus must-see for a fan of hers...
If you've seen any of her one-on-one interviews, you'll notice she's rather shy, almost uncomfortable with the attention... But in a group or in front of a camera for a film or drama, she's supremely confident and dedicated... Remarkable.

You know, the beauty of her modesty there was that she was never "obvious" about it. Actors can say how they're "just a cog" in the movie machine, then go back to their limos and lattes, but the way Juri-chan went about the program, you'd think she was just a documentary narrator. You almost feel the program wasn't even about her, and she was only giving commentary on a trip. That's impressive.

It's hard for me to see Juri as the kinda gal that frequently rides in limos and sips latte. She's not debonair, smug, nor high-class like that.

I'm sure Juri would've been similarly modest without the cameras there. But, I think she would be a bit more cautious in what she says/does knowing her visit was being filmed.

I'd recommend Kagayaku Onna be the first clip/video that people see of Juri. Even if you were never interested in any of her movies and dramas ... and never will, this interview would at least make you appreciate Juri as a person.
(Btw, I'd recommend Swing Girls be the first Juri film everyone sees. )

Yup! Agree with you..
It was great to see Juri chan as a normal person rather than as an actor.. She comes across as a modest person but with supreme confidence in her abilities..
