Niko2x has a point, there. I myself found the article pretty amusing. When I was still single, I would not have objected to going out with an Asian guy, by any means. I thought they were nice and cute and all, but none of the Asian guys I knew ever asked me out. I don't know if it was because I'm white or because I'm tall (5'8--about 176 centimeters, I think?). Lots of white guys did ask me out, and a couple of black guys as well, so that's who I dated. It's just that simple.

Ehh, it would still front-wheel drive though. And I can't imagine how horrible the handling would be... But the trunk full of $100 bills sounds nice.

for me, when i was young i use to dig white chicks over asians. but as i grew older, i wanted asian booty more. what can i say, the asianess has finally taken over me.

Haha....I thought it was an american engine... japanese engines always go parallel with the windshield and the bumper (well honda engines do anyways).... hehe good photoshopin' job tho...

maybe because you're a little of both but more so b/c of your height. A lot of taller girls wants only guys taller than themselves, which makes sense (horizontally speaking ) and althought that is above average for a female, that might be a little taller than the avg asian male. it also depends on where you are, because the asian population is fairly concentrated and not as well dispersed in cow-town, u.s.a. But if you would have been in miami back in your single days, you prolly would've heard some corny lines thrown at ya by ol' niko.

i have just recently learned to appreciate asian men. i honestly never thought i would ever find one attractive when i was younger. not all asian guys are subtle like you all say, i have asian male and female friends and uhh...well lets just say that they are very unusual, and they are not that subtle about the whole dateing issue. also, this is outside of the subject , but it is not cute when white guys get dreads, but for some reason asian men pull it off so well. but they are hot with or without em.

I have a friend who had dreads. He pulled it off. He stold my idea, I was going to get it first but I never did it, so he did. I didn't want my hair to be nappy thats why.

Watching poor William Hung performing on the Tonight Show last night (http://www.williamhung.net/) made me think of this thread.
I can't believe he doesn't realize he's just being made a big joke--a caricature, feeding into the negative image of the Oriental male on national television. I mean, he has NO singing talent, he has a really bad accent you could barely understand what he's saying, and IMO not much in terms of looks, and he has a CD out?!?!?!?!?! -- his album "Inspiration". WTF is that? There have been times when I turned down acting parts because I found them to be demeaning. If he really had talent I would support him 100%--I might even buy his CD.

It's one thing if someone like Hiromi Goh who really CAN sing and has good looks is also occasionally featured on TV, then people would see how there really are different types of Oriental performers. But they rarely get any exposure on TV and when they do, it's usually a joke like William Hung.
