Actually, not really, no. I do find that the closing credits are the most emotional though - looking at the pictures of the real girl. Sometimes those cause me to get a little choked up.

Maybe when the father said something about wanting Aya to have her silly days as a kid I got a little teary, but not like usual - I'm generally a pretty cheap cry Wink

Over Time, that's my all-time favorite. Background music was provided by three artists - The Brilliant Green, Yamaguchi Yuko and SpitZ ---- that's rare nowadays where it's usually just one.

Watched Tomorrow ep 3 last night. I'm enjoying this show but I'm not sure if it's just in comparison to Code Blue or not.

It's funny about News no Onna, it kind of snuck up on me. The first couple episodes were just o.k. but somewhere along the line they got me hooked and I ended up liking it a lot. Applaud

hehe, you're certainly right about that.....feels like i'm watching a painting slowly evolve rather than watching a dorama - on ep 3

I'm really enjoying it so far, and I'm really sad that it's almost done. I keep reading that the end isn't favourable, so I'm hoping I still enjoy the outcome.

Just finished The Last Song...

This is probably the most thought-provoking drama I have watched. A lot of it was very meaningful and insightful, but also a lot toward the end left me confused. It also moved too much away from storytelling and the principal characters for my liking, so I wasn't particularly attached, although I imagine others could find some of the stories and the ending deeply moving.

Yamazaki was stellar throughout the whole series. Every episode was original. It was actually quite a hopeful ending... I really don't know what to say about this drama...

When I watched it almost 10 years ago, I disliked the ending. I watched it again last year and although I was still slightly disappointed, I understood why it ended the way it did and liked it better this way. The reason for my change in opinion is because I had matured a bit and now that I was about the character's age this time around, I could put myself in the person's shoes.

On topic: Finished my Shiro's drama. Talk about a crazy drama, but with a nice ending. I also started watching Tengoku e no Kaidan and it seems ok so far. Just an introduction of characters and plotline.

94F in the shade.

The neighbor on the left is on his hands and knees putting in a new brick drive way.

The neighbor on the right is assembling the grill for tomorrow's party (first daughter's christining)

What to do. What to do?

I know, close the doors and windows, turn on the A/C, and watch the final Shomuni Special, Shomuni Forever.

Best decision I ever made.

Thanks again, A.D. for pointing out that link.

The English subs were, of course, one step up on gibberish. So I'll have to watch it two or three more times to get the finer points. (Life's so hard.)

Few things in life leave me feeling as happy, or as optomistic as a visit to the OLs at Manpan. Even if it was the final entry in the series.

I'll be writing my review shortly. Definitely 9/10.

I haven't touched epi 3 of Proposal... but sis and I are thinking of which drama to watch next.
