I think it was intentional, ne?
Regardless, I would've savored it.
I too believe it was intentional. Because her character liked the guy, she was acting coy and avoiding the kiss. There's no way that was an oversight. _________________

I thought that the kiss was a subtle but integral part of the movie.. Felt the importance of that moment once I completed the movie
I think so too.. it was a critical junction between the characters - and made even more interesting because it happened long before we got to see it - when they were watching the movie at the end.
The more I think about it, the more I think I may enjoy Rainbow Song more than any other work I've seen Juri in. Maybe not so much for her, but for the movie - it seems to be better written than much of the Japanese material - more like an independent movie than a campy 80s sitcom. _________________

lol. I can't believe this was intentional, though it could be possible cuz a lot of directors would cut something like this if it was a mistake. if it was intentional then respect to juri-chan. great job in making it look urgent.

True.. I also rate Juri chan's performance in Rainbow Song as one of her best ever.. As for the movie itself, I thought that the story line was thin, but the little/minute details that was shown in the movie was worth re-watching (the kiss scene, the group dating scene etc)

Welcome to the jungle!
I guess everyone's got their own perspectives, but I think that the majority felt that the scene was intentional Anyways, nice discussion topic that you have dug up

origatou gozaimasu ne! xD
I just thought it was an interesting thing to talk about since I wasn't sure why they left this scene they way it was. ^^
currently watching kagayaku onna. I didn't know japan has this kinda show for celebraties but I think this is awesome. ^0^
Juri-chan is so funny and she's always comparing things with food. But she has a really deep way of thinking.
