^ yeah it totally seems like a popularity contest. Last Friends was probably filled with the current it stars. but Utada's song deserved to win though IMO. it was so mesmerizing _________________

Is there any Drama Awards that's not based on popularity votes? The Television Drama Academy Awards still have slots voted by the readers of "The Television" magazine right? Where can I find the full list? You know.. with the votes by reporters and professionals plus 1-3 rankings in each category... Too many questions sorry..

It's like the TV Logie awards here. At least they have the good sense to distinguish between "Best Actor" (as voted by industry) and "Most Popular Actor" (as voted by the public) etc. Sounds like they need top do that in Japan too

More like nauseating: it's the only music track in the entire drama, aside from the instrumental version... Shake Head

Thanks marienella for the full list! hmmm.. they unanimously picked him as the winner. They have picked worst actors and dramas before this so its not surprising (Yuukan Club / Gokusen 2 winning at whichever category bestowed on them anyone??) Too bad Ryo will have the grudge of many for winning this. I'm hoping he'll do well in Ryusei.
