Thankfully, this election proved that taking the low road only leads you to one place:
Nowhere. |
Like a Bridge in Alaska. Good for shootin' moose, and eatin' goose.

LOL. Thank God, she's never gonna get the chance to be the president. Now she can go back to Alaska and watch Russia from her bedroom window. _________________

If she promises to stay in Alaska, she can keep 'em, you betcha! It'll be interesting when they do the post-mortem to see how much blame she gets for this.

When you look at Obama's landslide victory, and the big new majorities in the House and Senate... I think the "blame" will go straight to "W." and the neo-cons.
Yup, Palin hurt McCain. But after the 8 year long neo-con nightmare... I don't think any Republican could have won this year. |
I think you're right, but as they say in sports, it was a team effort. McCain probably ran the most disorganized Republican campaign since Bush vs. Clinton in '92. I wonder what the Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity crowd will have to say. I'm sure they'll say it's all because of the "liberal" media.

Unfortunately, loudmouth Michelle Bachmann regained her seat in the House as well as that racist gasbag senator Saxby Chambliss.
And Yes on Prop 8 is winning at the moment.

It's amazing how deluded these people are to vote Yes on 8: it's basically saying "I'm in favor of discrimination."
And a lot of these same people voting Yes on 8 are minorities, who probably know all too well about discrimination.
Freakin' insane.

Well there are many states that've already amended their constitutions to ban gay marriages...so that discrimination has been codified in many places already.
Check this out. Palin Purloins Pretty Clothes.
NEWSWEEK has also learned that Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family--clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books
