Me. hehe

Thursday night around I got home around 10pm. A girl followed me out of the elevator. She stopped and turned in front of my neighbor's door and just kept looking at me. She didn't knock or tried to unlock the door. She looked suspicious, so I just glanced at her while unlocking my door. Then she just walked back towards the staircase still staring at me. Me think "wtf?" Then, she open the staircase door halfway and waits still staring at me. Me think "Well, maybe she wants to get invited for a coffee or something... Naughty " Then, "why the hell this damn door won't open." Check at the door, oops, wrong floor.

So I walk towards her and said something like "I'm not even on the right floor". She went from a "omg, this guy is going to rape me" expression to a big grin and she tried to suppress laughter. She kept me the door open, but once I got through the door she closed it and didn't follow me. I guess I was trying to get into her apartment. Beaten

Went home straight to bed. Tired ashamed

LOL.

Luckily, you didn't get pepper sprayed or worse. Sweat

Yeah... Sweat

Talk about bad timing. 30 seconds earlier and I would have been ok or if she lived somewhere else on the floor. I'm just glad a 6'4" 250lbs guy wasn't on the other side of the door. Beaten

I bet. I would have been freaked out, if I had been in her shoes. Plus I would have broke an ankle, because I'm pretty sure I can't walk nor run with stilettos. hehe Beaten

So, I'm over at book-off and I picked up a couple cd's. I'm wearing my "Watanabe Taiko" t-shirt that has "Watanabe Taiko" on the front in kanji just like this: nӁ@. The lady behind the counter's name is Atsuko and as she's giving me my change she looks at my shirt and says, "Oh, Watanabe Taiko". Instead of trying to make some conversation, what does cementhead do, , ,
I said, "Oh, you can read kanji!!" Like a Japanese person being able to read kanji is the most amazing thing since splitting the atom. Bonk ashamed

Reminds me of when I was doing the Japanese class earlier this year. At the end, when the teacher brought the okonomiyaki for us to eat, they were actually brought in by another teacher and a cute Japanese girl called Iori. So our teacher introduces her to us, and says "OK, introduce yourself to Iori-san" and points to me first. So like an idiot, I said "Watashi wa Al-san desu" Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

^ Maybe if you said "Al-sama" it would've been better because then you would've been seen as an egomaniac rather than having made a mistake. Mr Green

True, but if you're working in a Japanese bookstore, I think it might come in handy.
@ AD: hopefully that was AFTER they told you that you had passed the class. Sweat

Pat Pat Pat Welcome in the club of the appropriate-reaction-challenged. I recently asked a professional ballerina: So, you like dancing? Beaten

Today I stopped in at Little Caesar's to get a pizza. I wanted a cheese pizza, and my brain told me to say "cheese" but when the girl asked me what I wanted, for some reason I said, "Lemon" Bonk

And she gives me this look like, "Halloween weirdos are out already" Shake Head
