And that towel thing worked. Thanks, beem. ^_^ The a/c guys also came in a few minutes ago and closed the vent where the hot air was coming down from, so it's a little cooler. Not much, but I don't feel as crappy as I did earlier.

On topic: Wow, I read some of the back posts and I'm sorry to hear about your work situation, krim. It makes bitching about the heat in my office seem really petty compared to what you guys are going through.

^ In my last job, we were in a pokey little office that used to get the afternoon sun, and it used to get really hot in there. We used to complain about it and their response was "Well, the boss doesn't have airconditioning in his office..." This is the boss whose office was on the other side of the building, was much larger and had an awning to keep the sun off.

After all that complaining about being hot at work, the building management put this weird tube thing all around the building that brings in cold air, so right now it's actually freezing where I sit. I don't care about the freezing part because I'd rather freeze instead of sweat.

And one of our really sweet customers gave me some cute earrings and banana nut bread. She's so sweet.

Im still working my tush off at work. I wish I could have senioritis or the whole checked out attitude. But I'm counting on the good word of my boss for my next job. So, even if I want to just twiddle my thumbs.. it ain't happening.
