yes i know, im just thinking that phlargo-san could have mistaken it for the scene where Nodame was fighting her way to get her hands on one of those eels..and Kuroki was just there feeling sorry for not being of help.. hehe hehe or unless i've really missed or forgotten that mackerel frenzy scene on the drama.. Beaten

actually the only mackerel scene i've remembered was Chiaki throwing the fish upon seeing Nodame eating with all her heart's content at Uraken (episode 2).. hehe

Was that mackerel?

The only mackerel (horse mackerel) I recall is the Aji that Nodame toasted for Chiaki in Episode 1:

Hehe.. actually watched the first episode tonight. I'm flying back up to Seattle tomorrow and I'll be moving up to Seattle this weekend (i found someone renting a room) so I'll probably not have much time to watch more until next week... but I'm looking forward to it. It's been a crazy month.
