That's what my company would qualify as part of a "Change" campaign.
"Change" is the new buzz word in my company. It just means one day this and the next day we do the opposite.
Two month ago it was "Lean"
4 month ago "Hay grading"
Before that "Balanced scorecard"

Christmas Break I am off this year - from the 24th December to 5th January. A good week without seeing the office

Indeed! Tomorrow will be my last day, and then I don't go back until Jan 5th. I've brought home loads of marking, but I figure if I cram it all and do it over 3-4 days, I'll still have a bit over a week to myself. _________________

at least something to look forward to
People start to flock out of the office for their X-mas break. It's 3pm I want to leave too but I have a late Friday evening meeting and will be able to leave earliest around 7pm.

It took my an hour to get home when it should only take 10 minutes. My car got stuck in the middle of the road right in front of my house (so close!) and it took me two hours to shovel it out again. |
What's wrong with that admin? It must be the same admin from my middle & high school, I swear he never closed school even all the towns around us closed.

Maybe you need a different kind of "car".

Looks like it's top ramen for lunch the next year. |
Look on the bright side. A 20% paycut is better than a 100% paycut.

One of my neighbors has just that, and rides it in our field in the back. I was admiring him from the window today (no, I'm not a stalker, I was just out feeding krim). _________________
