Yay! Victory! Peace!

I thought Natsukawa Yui's speech near the end was terrific. In love

I've just started the first season of Trick, and it's great. It's got just the sort of quirky humour I enjoy, very similar to Jikou Keisatsu. I loved the girl sliding from side to side in the back of the car in the second episode. It reminds me a little of the UK TV show Jonathan Creek.

I'm another member of the SCANDAL fan club. I'm up to episode 6. It's by far the best series from the Autumn '08 season (although there wasn't very much in the way of competition). It's really a character based mystery show with an excellent cast and writing. Nothing is as it first seems and everybody has some to hide. It's the revelations of these secrets which drives the plot, but at no time does it feel forced. It's been described as a Japanese Desperate Housewives, but it's a different sort of show and much much better. Many thanks to marspeach for subbing it.

After watching Scandal, and rewatching Under the Same Roof, I knew I had to watch a throw away series, because I knew that almost anything I watched next would suffer by comparison.

So I plugged in Celeb To Binbo Taro

http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1331.htm

Yup. It's junk. Rich girl, meets poor guy, learns great life lessons about how much better it is to be poor and loved than rich and... well, rich.

Hollywood used to specialize in this plot during the great depression.

There's no point in talking about the acting or the writing here. It's all just harmless, mindless, silliness... with a couple of really pretty girls to look at. For me that means Ryoko Kuninaka and Rieko Miura.

Cerebus

I loved Trick. All three seasons.

You're right. In terms of basic plot it's very much like Jonathan Creek. But it's a lot funnier, and a good deal more enjoyable to watch.

Galileo is a bit repetitive, but I found it an overall enjoyable drama. The main peeps have great chemistry.

On Topic: Naguru Onna epi... 7 I believe.

Is that what you do at work all day? hehe

On topic: Watched Galileo episode 3 last night. I actually like this one, but I can see it getting old and repetitive like the others mentioned above. It's good that they have many guest stars to keep things fresh though.
