It's a wonder Rookies manage to sneak in and steal the show when it shouldn't have qualified for the summer drama slot but did so by virtue of the drama's extension into the early part of summer.

^mmm... the votes not only came from Arashi fans you know and I know some Arashi fans who dropped the series despite Nino being in it.

Ryusei no Kizuna was also picked as the Best Drama by The Galaxy Award, awards NOT based on popular votes but were judged by critics from Japan Broadcasting Commission (if my deciphering skill is correct)
I think it is also associated with the GALAC magazine, an exclusive critiques publication for movies, drama, and stageplay production.

And surpassing Kimutaku.. I thought with CHANGE ratings it would be more popular than Maou average ones. I've seen Nino did better than his Koichi in RnK. He needs to be doing movies instead.
