It's probably not a good thing that these two, small, side characters are the ones that made the biggest impression on me.

I'm finding more and more that it's these side characters that really make me enjoy a drama. I mean, look at the recent dramas I've seen. In all the reviews I write more on the side characters than the main characters.

There's more scope for creativity in the side characters, I find. With the main character, you want to find personalities that will sell, and so are somewhat limited.

Oh yeah.

But if you started it now, you'd probably STILL finish it before me Wink

Finished the last episode of Galileo the other day. It was good, but not great, so I gave it an 8/10. Though Masha and Kou were the main characters, I found myself liking Watanabe Ikkei's character the best. Talk about the Japanese George Costanza! hehe

Finished ep 4 of Shoni Kyumei...this show is progressing nicely...this maybe Manami's best role yet...

on a side note...

in the Love Shuffle thread, many have noted how thin Tamaki Hiroshi seems...

by the same token, Jinnai Takanori in Shoni Kyumei looks very diminished...

And I was shocked, truly shocked the first time Kashiwabara Takashi showed up in Celeb to Binbo Taro...He was just gaunt, he looked wasted...

On an up note, Tsukamoto Takashi in Shoni Kyumei looks like he gained about 20 pounds since I saw him last...

Haha, he's not balding, but his characters usually has that same attitude that George does: self-important, smarminess to cover up low-self esteem.

Ai no Uta episode 1-3

I like this a lot so far. There were lots of laughs to be had and some touching moments too thanks to Kanno Miho's performance. She was great in this too.

Just finished watching 'Engine'. The title of the drama is misleading. Was hoping for more racing action hehe .

Found the drama to be pretty good which was a bit of surprise. To be honest, started watching the drama because of Juri chan and the title itself! But it turned out to be a nice drama with a decent ending as well. Victory! Peace!

Kita no Kuni Kara ep. 8. (last night) Victory! Peace!

This is so far removed from what they call a "drama" nowadays.
