I prefer scrounging. The pantry's empty because of the packing... I have been surviving on bits and pieces of food.

I hope the soup helps a little.

How does chicken porridge differ from chicken soup? I've never heard of the porridge.

Oddly, I don't have a sore throat at this point... Just congestion: my sinuses feel like they're stuffed with cotton.

I was doing some preemptive gargling, but I don't have a sore throat at the moment.

You seem to be doing all the right things to ensure it gets better. Are you taking tomorrow off? _________________

You really should. Along with the meds and gargling and soup, the best thing is rest. _________________

I just wish it had happened later in the week: the thought of going into work for one day (Friday) is disappointing....
