Ueto Aya...Toda Naho... Ryo...
this show's just dripping with gorgeousnessositytude... |
A fangirl could say the same thing about the Gokusen series... And we all know what a monument to excellence that series was.

"Henshin"
Thanks Monta. I'd never heard that word before. (I'm not a Manga or Anime fan)
If I understand properly that's sort of the Japanese version of Billy Batson saying " Shazam!" and instantly transforming into Captain Marvel.
I haven't watched Kiina yet, but I noticed her doing the pose when I was glancing at the files as I downloaded them.
Natsukawa Yui does the same bit in Top Sales.
"Top Sales"
I'm not sure why it's so easy for me to admit that I'm watching Innocent Love solely because I'm a Uchida Yuki Fan Geezer... but I don't want to admit that the same is true in regards to Top Sales.
Okay, here goes.
I am a Natsukawa Yui fan Geezer
And Top Sales is kind of... not at all brilliant.
Yui certainly is. She has some wonderful scenes in here that make the show worth watching. But the show as a whole... Really not brilliant at all.

I saw the first two episodes and while I agree that Natsukawa Yui is the only "brilliant" thing about the show. She's such a great actress. But I don't think the show is bad either. Just not "great." _________________

Maybe because Top Sales is an fairly decent drama and Innocent Love is a piece of junk. When I decided which would be "Worst Drama of 2008" it came down to Last Friends or Innocent Love and you could flip a coin. And when Ryo showed up in Top Sales that's an added bonus. Kind of like finding an extra quarter in the change slot of the vending machine.

Well is was dated: Back in the 70's, where part of the story takes place.

Yeah, the age thing was sorta pushing it...
But "the choice of Natsukawa Yui was not a very happy one?"
For who?

I can't be bothered with head-scratching questions at the moment. I just landed in Okinawa and can't find my sun glasses. Without them I'm ridiculously unconvincing as a man in my twenties. _________________

That's no excuse... You can't throw out a comment like that without substantiation.....
