WARNING: Message contains slight spoiler for "Strawberry on the Shortcake". But you've probably watched it already, haven't you?

Kyoko looks absolutely amazing. I am just starting to get into Japanese drama and I've only watched "Strawberry on the Shortcake" so far. OMG, that show nearly made me lose my mind! Bonk

It was like a trainwreck after a while. I couldn't believe how stupidly the characters were acting. I just wanted to reach into the video and shake some sense into them. I was afraid it was going to have a bad ending, but I was relieved. (I would have preferred to see Manato have a three-way with both Yiu and Haruka, but, oh well...)

Kyoko just stole the show, though. I would waste hours at a time watching the episodes. The funny thing is, that's not usually my kind of show. My wife thinks I don't like "chick movies", but there was just something about this one.

I watched Yatterman becoz of Gan-chan (Sho), but it was late when I realized I took tremendous amount of Kyoko screencaps. hehe I saw her first in a variety show guesting, but I cant remember her voice so when I watched the movie, I was extremely surprised! her (character) voice wasn't like what I imagined before watching it!This made her lovable for me. Victory! Peace!

Kyoko Fukada stars in "Renai Gikyoku"

Kyoko Fukada will star in her first film in four and a half years, taking the lead in Shoji Kokami's comical "Renai Gikyoku ~Watashi to Koi ni Ochite Kudasai~." Kippei Shiina has been cast opposite her as the male lead.

Kokami is adapting the film from his own hit play "Renai Gikyoku." Fukada plays a popular television screenwriter named Mayumi Taniyama. When a producer named Mukai (Shiina) is insistent on getting a script from her, she toys with him by asking him to fall in love with her.

Fukada actually plays three characters in the film - the screenwriter Taniyama, the plain and lonely housewife in Taniyama's script, and the gorgeous female writer in the script penned by the housewife.

Besides Fukada and Shiina, the cast features Takashi Tsukamoto, Masatoshi Nakamura, Misa Shimizu, Masahiko Nishimura, and Jun Inoue. Theatrical release starts on September 25.

Never posted in this thread, but found these new photos of her so what the heck! Nut Not sure if she's looking better but certainly different. Mr Green

Those pics really don't look like Kyoko at all. Shocked I really don't like those dresses she's wearing, especially the black one, or the hair style. I think she looks better with a more simplistic outfit, and with straighter hair.

In terms of how she looks, I like her best with blond hair, like she had in Fighting Girl or in this video. I guess that's because I first saw her in the music video, but I think she looks cute in almost any hairstyle, except for the ones in the new magazine pics you posted.

That sounds like the song she did in Dolls, she may have been the best part of the movie. Upon further reflection, that was probably the best she looked, head to toe. Victory! Peace!

That is the song from The Dolls. And I agree, it's the best part in the movie. Being a Kyoko fan myself, I hated that movie. For me it was slow and way overly depressing.
