Before I'm going to study short-term course at UI, Indonesia, I've been watching jdorama for 3 and half
Begin with UTAHIME, Tomo-@Ƃ΂炵A i don't like the ending though hahah.
Then Ashita no KITA Yoshio,@the story is interesting! but kind of bore on some part.
Just finish today _lA@[Precious Time], re-run on my comp and i still love it!

Okay finished Ii Hito This was a HUGE suprise! The only thing I knew going in, and the only reason I started it was Miho Kanno. But boy, Kusanagi was great, the supporting cast and story excellent as well. I guess some people might be put off by Kusanagi's somewhat over the top acting, but it really worked for me. Big thumbs up! Thumbsup

I saw "First Kiss" a little while ago. It's a nice, fairly charming - if predictable - little show.

I'm on episode 4 now. Good flow. Still indifferent to it. It's more eye candy than anything else.

Finished Uta No Onii-san.

I think they tried to fit in a little message there in the end.

It was light and fluffy. Rather like a pale blue teddy bear.

Enjoyable. Big Grin

I've just finished got round to finishing Ikebukuro West Gate Park. I nearly didn't get past the first two episodes as I don't think I liked a single character, but it improved greatly after that. Stylish, dark, comedic, violent, bizarre and definitely not your average Japanese drama. The ending was a little weak and the acting variable, but it was highly enjoyable.

I'll have to try both Kisarazu Cat's Eye and Tiger & Dragon as they share the same writer and I've heard that they're similar in style.

If you're going to watch Tiger & Dragon, watch the special first...It will eliminate a lot of confusion!

I also enjoyed this one....my favorite gag was the phone booth out in the field...

If you enjoyed the music, here's the main theme by the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra...

Seen so far first eps of:

Shiroi Haru- Seems like it's aiming more towards a younger audience or their parents/families. I didn't think the first ep was boring, but it seems like the show could get boring easily. I hope it doesn't.

Atashinchi no Danshi- Just what you'd expect. Horikita Maki cannot act. Most of the "ikemen" are pretty ugly. But it was kinda funny.

Hanchou- Decent, nothing memorable (so far).

Sometimes it's good to listen to what other people think.

I started watching Love Shuffle

http://jdorama.com/drama.1374.htm

because Yoshitaka Yuriko & Karina are both in it. If we're lucky, I think both of these young ladies are going to be around in movies and TV for a very long time, and I tend to grab anything that has either of their names on it.

But the show "Love Shuffle" bored me at the beginning. In fact, I was seriously considering giving it a pass, but I kept reading such glowing reviews that I figured I'd stick it out.

I'm happy I did, and thanks to those who championed this show. I finally started getting involved... interested... in the story around the 4th or 5th episode. And having just finished episode 7 I'm completely hooked. I can't wait to see how this all sorts out.

Who knows... at the end I might decide that they blew it. It's happened before. And I'm a pretty petty and judgmental person.

But for now, I'm really happy I have 3 more episodes left.
