Okay finished Ii Hito This was a HUGE suprise! The only thing I knew going in, and the only reason I started it was Miho Kanno. But boy, Kusanagi was great, the supporting cast and story excellent as well. I guess some people might be put off by Kusanagi's somewhat over the top acting, but it really worked for me. Big thumbs up!

I've just finished got round to finishing Ikebukuro West Gate Park. I nearly didn't get past the first two episodes as I don't think I liked a single character, but it improved greatly after that. Stylish, dark, comedic, violent, bizarre and definitely not your average Japanese drama. The ending was a little weak and the acting variable, but it was highly enjoyable.
I'll have to try both Kisarazu Cat's Eye and Tiger & Dragon as they share the same writer and I've heard that they're similar in style.

Seen so far first eps of:
Shiroi Haru- Seems like it's aiming more towards a younger audience or their parents/families. I didn't think the first ep was boring, but it seems like the show could get boring easily. I hope it doesn't.
Atashinchi no Danshi- Just what you'd expect. Horikita Maki cannot act. Most of the "ikemen" are pretty ugly. But it was kinda funny.
because Yoshitaka Yuriko & Karina are both in it. If we're lucky, I think both of these young ladies are going to be around in movies and TV for a very long time, and I tend to grab anything that has either of their names on it.
But the show "Love Shuffle" bored me at the beginning. In fact, I was seriously considering giving it a pass, but I kept reading such glowing reviews that I figured I'd stick it out.
I'm happy I did, and thanks to those who championed this show. I finally started getting involved... interested... in the story around the 4th or 5th episode. And having just finished episode 7 I'm completely hooked. I can't wait to see how this all sorts out.
Who knows... at the end I might decide that they blew it. It's happened before. And I'm a pretty petty and judgmental person.
But for now, I'm really happy I have 3 more episodes left. _________________
