I was able to grab a copy of Super Modern Artistic Performance Concert DVD when I went to HK this New year. I almost didn't buy it because it's too expensive at HMV. Thank god for Sino Centre it's cheaper by 300HKD.
SMAP is legendary. I love it when they sing e gao ta ki shi me... One of the best songs of SMAP. I'm quite disappointed though 'coz the song DAWN has been very interesting for me and I was hoping they'd sing it too. Too bad
Anyway, do anyone of you know where to find subbed episodes of SANTAKU? I tried to wait for any group to sub SANTAKU 2008 but to no avail Doesn't matter if it's subbed in CHI or ENG, if anyone could recommend a site, onegaishimasu!

I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to disagree with you. This is very serious because he's a well respected celebrity. What Kusanagi did is considered shameful here. Think of the shame he brought to himself and to the other SMAP members. He was a spokesman for switching from analog TV to digital TV. All those CMs and advertisement invested down the drain. That would turn a lot of people off in purchasing a new digital TV especially in these tough economic times. The minister has every right to be mad. Look at all the TV shows he's on. All those people who work with him in the entertainment business are affected too. You really need to see the big picture because this "NOTHING" is indeed something.

hmm, after re reading what i wrote it seems i left out an important piece to the point im trying to bring across...the situation is a big laugh to me because of the DIFFERENCE in cultures (not to say that there arent ppl in japan that feel that im right or that there arent ppl in america that feel that your right, ppl are ppl and that comes with differences)..you see, the difference in cultures is why to ME this whole thing is being blown out of proportion...in no way am i condoning what he did,
sure it was wrong...sure he should have been arrested...but there are much worse things. so since he's a star he's to be made into a big bad guy, and the hand of god should be struck upon him? nahh, theres no way im to be convinced that his crime fits the punishment. i honestly feel sorry for him because he's seems to be a nice guy and is pretty much being shown no mercy for a little mistake. by "here" i take that you live in japan, so throw everything aside, our difference in cultures, take that out of the picture and sit in think, just give it some thought..say to yourself. he got drunk and went streaking, pretty much disturbing the peace, one night. one time. so now, yes, they should take everything from him, yes he IS in fact a disgrace. now sure he has brought shame to himself, but this is not something a simply apology and the fact that he was in fact arrested shouldnt solve. ok i was arrested for doing this, so im just not going to do it again, and think a little more rationally,
with all that in mind, you STILL think that he should be out casted? most certainly not.
if anything this should drawn more attention to smap and their shows, his movies and commercials...so in japan yall are going to see, well im not getting digital cable, even tho its way better than analogue no he went streaking so i dont want it. haha thats ridiculous! thats like saying if he was a spokesman for trains, you wouldnt ride them. haha id go to japan JUST to see the famous traffic jams.
maybe we'll just have to AGREE to disagree though.
It's very interesting how the Japanese make a big deal out of some things. I guess if Robert Downey Jr. was Japanese, he would have been done after his first drug arrest. And what a shame that would have been, because look at him now. Also, Matthew McConaughey did something very similar a few years back. He was naked playing bongos in his backyard and stoned. He got laughed at for a few weeks, but otherwise it didn't affect him at all. It's a shame that the Japanese shun people who make mistakes like this. Think of all the great talent that will never reach its potential. Kubozuka Yosuke comes to mind. Such a talented actor too, he could have gone on to great things.

i agree with you 100%
just today i saw rihanna slangn sum covergirl make up on tv
thinkn to myself yea u need that make up to cover that black eye
i still see chris brown juken and jiven talkn bout sum double mint gum and he beat her ASS, he should be LOCKED UP
kusanagi's punishment fits chris browns crime, and chris brown is somewhere enjoying the sun and waiting for a court date.
yosuke is a damn good actor, all he did was fall off a patio and NOT die, maybe he tried suicide idk i wasnt there lol but still, the last show he was in was how many years ago? 2002? and like 1 or 2 movies. ive seen a million matthew mcconaughey's terrible romantic comedies since his little spat. so please, FREE KUSANAGI! he's only human

I'm pretty much a lurker here, but I felt had to respond to the conversation re: Tsuyopon. I enjoyed the spirited give and take of opinions and appreciate the maturity of it all. Thanks. Loved reading it.
