Funny thing, just met this guy in person. You are right, he does have a lot to say. But his message he is trying to get across is genuine. Having just spent 4 months in Japan, it's hard to see any issues such as these on a surface level and it takes a bit more digging as Debito has done since Japan likes to cover it up.

I'm Filipino and a matsujun fan so I'm really interested in the drama. I'm currently watching it and I'm only at part 2 and I'm already getting these fuzzy feelings. Hope you'll all like the drama too.

Very impressive and detailed.

On another note, it's a though drama to watch. The message is profound. I hope they'll stuffed it with choc-full of love between Vito and Hana.

Things I don't particularly like: involvement with the yakuza.. it's too heavy to insert another dilemma for Vito. Jun's over emotes. He's excellent at certain parts but it was annoying watching him over-acting. Still love the boy, but there need to be someone to knock him down a notch. I'm quite impressed though to see him without a hint of the Matsujun ego as Vito.

The 1st ep was heavy for me. If it wasn't for the nationality issue which I'm curious about, I won't bother to continue or to watch it at the first place.

i think that is how Jun normally cries. he has a funny way of crying and laughing if you noticed. they are always the same in all of his dramas. that is why he does not do much of them on the screen. i still LOOOOOOOVE him to bits though

all i can say to Hana, "way to go girl!!" she was so brave to be able to do all those "investigations" for the sake of Bito and very very happy for them that the truth was revealed.. i was like "in your face" towards those antagonists as Kazuma was speaking in the court.. serves them right..

can't wait for episode 3!! Hana and Bito's red thread!!
and the new problem looks like another set-up..well i hope it is..
and Shun finally appears!!

i thought Kondo's gonna catch Hana and stop her from showing the evidences... WAY TO GO HANA-CHAN! but there's another problem coming... food poisoning in the school where they deliver food...

well, the discrimination issue is not much of an issue in this drama and i'm liking it more and more... looking forward to the upcoming episodes...

Just watched the first episode now and I'm already hooked. I'm filipino/white(english) and an kind of relate, even to the crime involvement in my youth. But overall, looks like it will be a good watch!

Gakki's Hana is just soooo adorable
The character suits her like a glove. I heard she's a Do-S just like Jun in real life.. I wonder how they interact with each other.
Wishing for her to be a guest in Shukudaikun someday! (hopefully they'll ask the who she likes the best in Arashi )

A Japanese friend who's a fan said she is. I think she got the information from TV interviews or something. Umm.. I think her staff and manager confirmed it too?? Not sure but I can imagine her being a Do-S.

I watched a bit of her in Hanamaru.. she can cook too. It was very sweet of her to make some fried snacks for the cast and crew. She made 100 pcs of fried doughy snacks.
