I think i must be the only person who really could not stand that line of "Taro rin-rin-rin" i would fastforward everytime i see that line coming. it used to get on my nerve in a bad way.
anyway, at the moment i am watching/trying to watch this dramas
Smile----> a must see for me being a huge junbait fan.
Boss --->still waiting for the subbed version so have not started yet. but have to watch this one because of tekenouchi and tamayama
shiroi haru---> only seen abe hiroshi in taigas so this is my first time watching him in something without samurai clothing.
Tenchijin----> i love taiga and i love this cast
the quiz show & the quiz show golden----> for some reasons i keep seeing their names everywhere and everyone says is good, so i want to see what is all about.

Stick with it, GM.
The first ep is just set up.
Im on ep 4 already. Been watching all evening. There is a certain charming surreal quality to it. Really enjoyable. _________________

Love Shuffle was my favorite out of last winter's doramas.

I was another person who had doubts after the first episode of Love Shuffle, but I persisted and I realised is was going to be one of the best doramas I've seen after the fifth or sixth episode. Nojima Shinji must be the best writer currently working in Japanese drama. It has excellent plotting, pacing, characterisation and dialogue. The show grows into much more something complex and compelling once it goes beyond the initial idea of the Love Shuffle and delves deeper into the lives of the protagonists.
It also helps that the majority of the cast can act. Yoshitaka Yuriko proves she is one of the best young actresses around without saying a word, and there is a real chemistry between Tamaki Hiroshi and Karina. The real surprise for me is Matsuda Shota who I never rated before, who shows given the right material he's a pretty decent actor. His photo-shot confessional scenes where superb.
It also helps that Fantasy by Earth, Wind & Fire is such a stonking good song.
Highly recommended.

The other song is Eternal Flame by the Bangles. I actually like the Bangs back in the day. They were a nice alternative from all the big-hair heavy-metal bands. Getting a nice '80s nostalgia buzz when I hear it.
