Ah yes, The Bangles, the music wasn't quite my thing, but I have very fond memories of Susanna Hoffs...

One thing I didn't mention about Love Shuffle was the high quality of the subs by Querbeet. Considering some of the exchanges were just a series of untranslatable puns I think their notes did a very good job of explaining things.

I also finished Love Shuffle last night after putting it off for a few weeks; it really was one of the best series from last season. I actually do not feel Eternal Flame blended to the series as nicer as Fantasy.

The Bangs became the Bangles, if I recall.

I still have their original debut LP, when Annette Zilinskas was part of the band. Victory! Peace!

Saw Tenchijin ep 7, I wish there was more action and I hope Kanetsugu gets his act together, he's been very annoying these past couple of eps. Shake Head

yes, i had the same feelings. i thought the choice of Fantasy for this drama was just excellent. Applaud Applaud Applaud
i have to admit thought that i left love shuffle after ep1 and returned few weeks later on and thought i give it another try.
my most favourite character of the whole drama is kikurin. recently i just can't have enough of Shuosuke Tanihara Smitten he has one unique voice.

and watched ep 9 & 10 of Tenchijin last night. i really don't know how the story developes for Kagetora ( w00t! finally i am able to remember each character's name) in future eps but i Tetsuji Tamayama character is just more interesting than Kitamura and Tsumabuki's. not to mention, much much much more appealing. Smitten Smitten Smitten

It takes some getting used to. After the first episode I remember thinking, "I haven't seen anything this pretenious in a long time." But at some point it just all comes together.

I agree, definitely watch it beyond the first episode which is very wordy and is just one long introduction to the characters and the show's premise. It just gets better and better after the iffy start.

It is kooky and in retrospect the story is absurd, but it is still a good show.

But sometimes you like kooky, Beem.
Nodame is certainly kooky. And Sekei Bijin is pretty much so too.

Anyway finished Love SHuffle. What a terrific romp of a drama with just enough depth added in for continued interest..
