Watched the first 4 episodes of
Kimi to ita mirai no tame ni ~ airu bi bakku [NƂ̂߂ I'll be back]
http://jdorama.com/drama.197.htm
The plot was gripping for the first couple of episodes but I felt it was beginning to slide.
Have to say... I enjoyed it. It's the old... the religious terrorists are on the loose and they're gonna kill everyone in Tokyo, and only our High school aged computer hacker can save the day... sort of thing.
But they kept things moving along very well. There was a solid surrounding cast. And boy... Kichise Michiko turned in a fabulous job as the murderous, devious, insanely sexy Femme Fatal.
I've always believed it's the bad guys who make a suspense thriller work or flop. And Kichise and to a lesser extent Narimiya Hiroki made this series work for me.
Now, since it's been a really bad week for me, I'm taking refuge in Suika
I fully expect to be raving about this show shortly, but I've only seen a couple of episodes so far, and I'm typing with a broken thumb right now so posting is a bit more difficult than I thought it was gonna be when I started. So I'll hold off for a bit. _________________

Finished watching Mop Girl. on my of overcoming this huge obsession on Tanihara Shosuke
it was kind of weird to see the girl in there specially that i watched Handsome suit movie a night before that and i had no idea she was in this drama too.
it was fun enough to watch but can't say that i liked it 100%. the story gets kind of routine after you get the usual plot.
to be honest, i am not really a big fan of one story per ep dramas. the only one i really loved was Galileo because it was never boring and predictable (well, apart from the fact that Galileo sensei will save the day by the end).

Uh oh. I've missed something in my reading. Is Wynter broken?
First she got dehydrated, passed out, got a concussion. Then something (I'm not sure what) happened to her left thumb. All of this after she came back from Japan. >> Cue up Twlight Zone theme <<
I'm pretty sure you're gonna like Suika. Those women plus Katsumi Takahashi from Shomuni, pretty good combination

Re: Suika. I always thought that it had the same kind of feel as Sexy Voice and Robo so I did some checking. Sure enough, Izumi Kizara wrote all of Sexy Voice and every episode of Suika except episode 7. In addition Toya Sato directed all of Sexy Voice and episodes 1,3,5,7,9, and 10 of Suika.
Btw, anybody know why the change directors sometimes in dramas? Seems to me it would create a lot of problems and could really screw things up if one director has a completely different take on how the drama should be going vs. the previous director.
