I've no idea... They've been down quite a bit lately... Server issues?

We've had problems here in the past, but somehow it got righted... Maybe chasing out the fangirls and fanboys did the trick. Mr Green

Ruroshin had posted a day or so ago that they were having server (and maybe host... I can't remember now) problems and he was working on it, which could result in the site being down for a day. At first he thought he had the problem fixed, but apparently not. Good time for me to go see Star Trek... finally.

The site isn't down. There are just some nameserver problems so that the domain name (www.d-addicts.com) doesnt resolve to the server's IP address (89.149.244.109).

You should be able to access the forum through http://89.149.244.109/

To be independent from any name servers you can add the following lines to your local hosts file. (You need admin previleges on your computer!)

89.149.226.178 fansub.d-addicts.com
89.149.226.119 d-addicts.net

Two things... Currently, both DNS servers that host "d-addicts.net" (note the dot-net and not dot-com) had its A-record deleted, probably due to hackers. Second, although seeding continues for a given torrent, BT can survive with zero trackers, either via the public DHT network, or with other peers within the swarm you established contact with prior to the tracker shutting down.
