Sort of a forgotten thread, I've been really enjoying her films lately, have just watched 3 of them with 2 more on deck. Latest view was Flowers, okay effort, big names in the cast besides her, also had Yu Aoi, Yukie Nakama, Ryoko Hirosue plus a few others.

Just viewed another Rena movie, from 2008 A Taste of Fish. Also starred Takao Osawa, okay movie but no classic, good enough though that it's got a sequel too with the same cast, some shots from the film.

Latest view, Tripping/Time Trip, 2006 movie filmed in Taiwan. She can really speak Manadrin, had to in this film, except for Ren Osugi whole cast was from Taiwan, okay film, she gets hit on the head early in the film where her body stays in the present but her mind traveled back in time.

Sigh, going back thru all 170 pages looks like at one time there were a lot of pics, sadly they're almost all deleted now, need to change that crisis real soon.

Some screenshots of Rena from Ryokiteki na Kanojo, she did a great job in it, seems as though all her movies she plays a serious character but in this drama she finally shows her comedic side.

Just noted in Yuki's thread it sure is common for an actress to throw out the first pitch at a game, here's Rena doing that as the ump makes sure she doesn't balk.

The 24 hour Television 34 Ai wa Chikyu wo Sukuu also had a few special during it's time frame too, one of which was a movie that starred Rena along with Kanjani8fs Murakami Shingo as her husband called Ikiteru Dake de Nankurunaisa. Renafs character was that of a devoted and cheerful wife who continuously tries to support her husband who is suffering from various life-threatening and incurable diseases. The special drama is based on a novel by Tamamoto Eisaku of the same name, whose tragic yet encouraging plot is based on his own life.
It's also going to be coming out on DVD, you can already order it from CDjapan for 3800 yen.

Shots of Rena from her 2001 film Tokyo Marigold, one of the slower movies made but still an okay watch, she put in a good effort but was so so quiet and stoic.
