Watching ehem Atashinshi no Danshi Sweat

I am enjoying this (donLt we all have our glitches - and I needed a non-brainer) but would I recommend this to the regulars here? Probaby not unless youLre younger and liked Hana Kimi. Same silly concept, Horikita Maki has to live with a bunch of guys and they have to do whack competitions.

In short, a fun show for young teens. And itLs bit more open-minded than your average drama (although only at very superficial level)

Just watched Muri na Renai. Sweet drama. Sakai Masaaki reminds me of these aging crooners you see puffing and sweating out old tunes on PBS pledge drives. Can't think of a role that could have suited him better than this one. It could have been taken right out of his own bio. I wasn't impressed with what he did in Churasan (his singing made me wish he'd take his shamisen for a long walk on a short pier) and Kurosagi, but in this drama, they managed to squeeze a pretty good performance out of him. He had trouble showing deep emotions, but his graying voice with lifelong smoke in it added a touch a pathos to his persona.

Just put Scandal in my DVD player. Been looking forward to this one.

It's officially a sign now. Looks like it's next for me.

Monster Parent 11 - finished!

No big surprises there. Not my favorite Ryoko-chan drama, but pretty good! 8/10

I watched the first three episodes of Muri na Renai. What a charming drama!

It's good to see Sakai Masaaki in a different role than the Keibun in Churasan. He has more lines and depth now. And Natsukawa Yui! At first I wasn't sure if I liked her in this type of role, but she's definitely won me over and she's doing a great job. As expected.

I really dislike her boyfriend. U Suck

Well, he improved as the series went on. I quite like him by the end. The actor who played the boyfriend did a good job, I think.

Really?

I didn't think so... I thought he was pretty much self-absorbed until the end, which by then was moot.

The favorite parts for me were when Yui and Sawa Suzuki were together (usually doing their makeup before going on camera) Two pros at work! Applaud

Yes.

Their interactions were so natural and terrific... Hmm, maybe I need to re-watch drama again soon. Victory! Peace!

I think he's doing well in terms of comic relief (the whole interaction between him and the others in Chappy's apartment that first night), but the character himself is really annoying and he's already turned me off.

They made his character like this on purpose, so that the audience would sympathize more with Chappy.

Not a word of a lie, but I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching the third episode. My favourite part is when the two friends are together discussing what's been going on.

On Topic: I'll be sneaking in an episode (#4) from Muri na Renai before dinner. I hope.
