Hey everyone, first time poster and also first time I saw a Jdrama!
So I was looking for jdramas similar to My Boss My Hero , since I enjoyed it immensely. Preferably, one that would be popular enough to be fan subbed since my japanese is not adequate enough for such an ordeal :p

Hope to drop by more often! Thanks in advance!
For me, right after I watched My Boss, My Hero; I watched Tiger & Dragon...same actor, just as funny IMO.

Just wanted to put in my first post too.
Like bmwracer suggested, if you liked My Boss, My Hero (one of my faves as well) Tiger and Dragon is a definite must. I personally have yet to watch Nodame but heard really good things about it.
If I can add one more recommendation for you, especially if you liked the style of My Boss; it would be Gokusen. I've watced only the first season...and am re-watching it right now -- just as good as the first time 'round.

Hey guys! I've just finished Mr Brain and was so bored that I forced myself to watch through Atashinchi no Danshi (no offence to Maki fans but it's the plot that's rather far-fetched LOL).
Anybody can recommend any good dramas in recent times? I'm interested in...
Mystery/Suspense: Galileo, Mr Brain, Bloody Monday, QED
High school dramas: Gakko ga Oshierarenai, ROOKIES, Nobuta wo Produce
Comedy/Romance: Nodame Cantabile (I know there are alot of Juri fans here )
If there's nothing interesting left, I wouldn't mind sitting through a pretty boy/girl drama eg. Hana Kimi, Mei-chan no Shitsuji.

Mystery/Suspense: Majo Saiban, The Quiz Show
High School Drama: Taiyo to Umi no Kyoushitsu (a bit on the dark side), LIFE (even darker one) _________________

Thanks guys! All the shows sound interesting. I'll think I'll start off with The Quiz Show. Rather reluctant to restart Majo Saiban because I watched the 1st episode and couldn't find the rest and was left hanging, but that'll come next.
Taiyo to Umi no Kyoushitsu and Jikou Keisatsu look fun to watch too! These will keep me busy till school reopens. ^_^
