Ok so it's about this girl that moves away from her parents to a different city to find out what she wants to do in life. She later discovers she wants to be a nurse. Later at where she works she finds the person whom she said she was going to marry as a kid. The girl's sister later comes to live with her, and he wants to become a rock star.

There's a grandmother that always knows when the phone is going to ring and who its from. I believe the father is a cab driver and is overlyexcessive with the daughter.

It aired as a half an hour show right. The girl moved into the apartment building of her mother's friend and her bother was becoming a successful rock musican. Well I think that the show was called "Churusan" or something like that. I can't remember the spelling, but I tired to wake up early to watch it and it was difficult to do it now since I was in my Senior year in high school a year ago. I hope that it was some help to you.

i've been to japan last month and every morning there was this nice drama-like program with a easygoing theme song as an opening...
i really need to know the name of this drama because i'd love to search the mp3 of the opening...

all i know about it is that the opening scenese were a red line that was creating shapes of things...like houses,trees etc


do someone know which drama it is? :O

So I just finished watching Oyaji which in turn reminded me of Otousan, the first dorama I watched in full(more or less). But that wasn't the first experience I had with Jdramas. The second drama episode I ever saw was the last episode of First Love and although I was thoroughly confused I still enjoyed it. Going even further back however, I do have the memory of one drama episode I saw and enjoyed and it's really buggin me now that I don't know what it is.

It was an office setting. It seemed to center around 4 or 5 people in the office. The main character MAY have been a woman. There was a birthday cake(in the office? at night?).

And that's all I remember. This was maybe 3 or 4 years ago so it's at least that old. I had only a couple years of Japanese study then so I didn't get much of it, but I found the show oddly arousing(foreshadowing my obesession with dramas now ^^. I'm thinking someone might know it even with that vague description, thanks in advance!
