Hello! I'm a newbie here and I am a big fan of nodame cantabile! and I meant BIG!
Firstly I read the manga and I like it, but going crazy over nodame and chiaki after I found out about the live action. I've watched it more than 3 times already, both the tv series and the special..
Now I cannot wait for the new nodame movies and fortunately on the last week of december I am going to Japan! I am so excited, and I wonder is the nodame cafe still open?! because I will go there and take thousands of pictures
I saw the nodame movie trailer and I don't like the fact that Chiaki look so skinny there but it doesn't make me love him less!

Irrashai Yeah, I also think Chiaki became skinny. You could also notice in the movie MW 0 Chance Akuman no Game and his drama Love Shuffle. Nevertheless, we can never regret the fact that he is sooo Kakoii while Nodame became kawaii-er than ever
I haven't seen the anime of Nodame but I'm looking forward to see it too, not much time as of now. Hehe.
I soo love Ueno-sama _________________

I am probably one of the few people who have yet to see this drama. I think the main reason for that is because it is classical music and that seemed to push me away from watching it. Although i heard many good thing's about it i never seemed to be in the mood to watch it, one of those dramas you generally place on the "to watch" pile and never get around to watching.
But i have to say since reading through the last couple of pages and the first few i think i will actually give this drama a go, i have been looking for something new to watch anyway. _________________

A lot of people are turned off by classical music, but I think you'll develop an appreciation for it once you've watched the drama...
I've listened to classical in the past, but I really like it now: the drama seems to make it much more accessible... Unless you're really stubborn.
And then there's the wackiness and slapstick comedy...

There ya go.
More about the classical music: Even though it is "classical music," I think the music selections that were made were really terrific: they're dynamic, perfectly appropriate to the scene/mood, and performed flawlessly... They never ever hinder the drama whatsoever.
