I think it may seem strange to many Japanese that anyone outside of Japan knows about J-Dorama's or J-Pop. Most of my friends in Japan were very surprised foreigners new about such things. I think Female viewer ship is higher but in Japan but to add that you are not from Japan to the mix and they are usually very surprised.

 i guess i'm kinda lucky
none watch jdrama (including me for now, still wondering if i buy a zone 3 DVD or a PC dvd) but when it comes to anime, i've got lots ! i have a rather nice network of friends that share anime with me. Some of them (such as me) are pioneer, that try new anime not seen nor heard of yet here (Canada). After, we can recommend it to ppl who are susceptible to like ^^. Sadly, most of them are like me : no significant other. | |

Well, its a night for unearthing.

But 5 years later people in my area are still surprised when I mention that I watch Asian dramas.
And I think my husband was surprised when he found out how much he enjoyed them too. THough I reeled him in carefully with action stuff like Umizaru and Toshiie TO MAtsu.
 Nothing with Yamapi yet.
THough he would have probably liked Code Blue.

The last choice in the poll: "Don't care as long as they are quite"

Unless that was what they meant to say and ran out of room. You know, "Don't care as long as they are quite good at sex." "Don't care as long as they are quite capable of making lots of money." Something like that.

 Thanx for enlightening me, GM.
As long as they are quite good at something then they dont need to be quiet.

Or they better shut up and watch drama!
