Shokojo Seira isn't bad if you like Cinderella type stories. I'm just watching it for Shida Mirai, I think she's a good actress.
Yeah i like Shida Mirai but i`m quite skeptical about this dorama cus it looks as if it`s abit of a cringe....
can u give me any info? _________________

Hopefully he's better at singing than he is at acting.
Unfortunately no (and he sounds even worse singing live). 50% of the debuted Johnnys are better singers than he is and that's saying a lot considering how low the singing standards are in the jimusho. And he's getting all these solo singing acts just because he's popular, when one of the best singers in the jimusho (aka the one in my fav group who can actually survive in the real music industry) wouldn't be given the chance to do so just because he's not. What a pity. _________________

Boy he really is someone who's just skating by on his looks, isn't he?

Well, like I said if you've ever read/seen Cinderella, then that's pretty much what you'll get. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the story, but her acting is good. That being said, I've seen up to ep 7, thus far I'd say ep 3 is the one that would make you feel the saddest for the girl. For me, I'd say it does get "lighter" after the third ep, though naturally she still faces hardships.
It's not bad, although it gets a little convoluted the last few episodes. The actor I really liked in this was Yuu Yoshizawa as Sorimachi's too loyal sidekick.
Yea, I've heard reviews about the ending, which almost made me not watch it.
And the sidekick (ryo?) is hilarious! Poor guy. He had his jewels grabbed at least five times in the last episode I watched... which was episode 3. I'm now on 4. _________________

You should be asking this question in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum, not this one.

JIN ep 8. Ayase looks great, but I wish they had more kimonos for her. She seems to be wearing the same ones over & over. That's just a minor/personal complaint doesn't really take away from the show.
Watching episodes 8 and 9 tonight. Still going strong!
I agree on the kimonos, though I figured that even wealthy or letLs say middle class people at her time would have a rather limited wardrobe.
JIN ep 9. I really like this show, it's totally addicting and I normally hate medical shows. Highly recommended.

Yes, I agree. I thought that too because it's probably accurate to think people back then didn't have a lot of clothes. But then I thought, this is show that deals with time traveling, so to me it didn't make sense that they decide to go 'realistic' with the wardrobe. I mean they have to know that Ayase in kimono is one of the major highlights of the show.

^ Yeah, been hearing gooood stuff about JIN. With TOKYO DOGS happily flushed down the toilet, JIN's the only drama left from the current season that I'm looking forward to watching.
OT:
DENSHA OTOKO Ep. 4 and it's charming my socks off. Lol, what is this--101st MARRIAGE PROPOSAL for the cyber age? Well, God bless the Train Men of this world and their little otaku hearts.

Saka no Ue no Kumo ep02
I got the feeling that plot and development were too condensed sometimes. The acting performances from the main cast were impressive though. The background music was great too.

Ooohhh, I LOVE her character!!!!!!
Speaking of "Yamada," I thought Yamada Takayuki would figger in the story, but it turns out his cameo in Ep. 1 was just... a cameo. I just found out that he played Train Man in the movie version, doh!
The actor on the drama, Ito whatsisface, is totally OTT and acts like he has cerebral palsy or something (is it just me, or does he also remind you guys of Stephen Hawking? lolz), but he's funny and I like him.
@ sable_star: YamaPi is overrated as an anything. Re BUZZER BEAT, oh WTH, just watch it. You've already seen him at his worst (= CODE BLUE, KUROSAGI), anyway. BB is still very watchable, in spite of YamaPi.
@ WD: I agree, NwP and LUNCH QUEEN were his best work, though I also found STAND UP! thoroughly delightful. Which reminds me, I have yet to finish DZ.

I had trouble getting past the endless sobbing in the drama version.
I enjoyed the movie version more. Of course I am a Yamada Takayuki fan and then there was Kuninaka Ryoko....

I think I am going to watch one or two episodes of Liar Game season 2. I know what to expect. Bad haircuts and cheap sets plus an annoyingly stupid Nao played by Toda.
