ILs not that I donLt like her looks anymore. DonLt get me wrorng always complaining that I miss her old looks haha
But I learned to know her in her old chubby/tomboy times and I like her with this style the most, I guess. Made her something special back then. I sometimes miss this special, signature Aya style nowadays. In her music as well.
As for movies; yes, ILd love to see her in a movie again, too. I still pray for Azumi 3 but it seems that she wonLt do it anymore. Seems that she is focussing on CM work and more feminine and mature roles now. Again, less tomboy Aya. Allthough I think Azumi 3 would be a better step for her carreer and to please her fans than the 1001 Softbank CM and another "mature dorama" like Konkatsu...
Or Kekkon ... not sure if you've seen that yet, but that was definitely aimed at a much much older audience
Personally I wouldn't want to see her do Azumi again, I think she's moved past that ... I would like to see a fun drama like Attention Please, which has a good script and a good support cast. _________________

A man woke up from what was thought to be a 6 year coma. Actually he was not in a coma. He was dreaming about Aya and did not want to wake up. He finally did wake up when a doctor who was examining him told a nurse that there was a new drama starring Aya on TV. The man leaped out of his bed, knocked over the doctor and ran off looking for a TV.
A fan sent a letter with no address on the envelope. Just a single red heart. The letter was delivered to Aya.
Aya is not perfect. Aya leaves perfect so far behind that it cannot even see her any longer.

ILm still waiting for subs for Kekkon so I havenLt watched it yer. But I guess itLs true. DonLt know, Maybe Aya is still a bit too young for such roles or maybe itLs just because my image of her is more like the older roles too much.
Attention Please and Celeb were definately great ones! I personally would love to see her as Azumi again but I think you are somewhat right. That she moved past it and roles like this. But There is still hope haha

Yes yes.... I agree... they are now aiming for mature roles for Aya Chan... but that's not a problem to me as long as the script is DECENT enough.... but if you'll gonna ask me I wanna see aya chan doing a DARKER movie or DRAMA...
I mean she already made us cry, laugh, moved..... this time I wanna see her in the dark side

I agree. not such normal and casual roles but something different, something "special." Maybe she should play some bad person or so. Something different from the ordinary.
