Believe it or not I did get until Stage 5 for Nobuta wo Produce, but then he got so annoying and wooden again in Kurosagi that it bothered and made me ask myself, why the hell I liked him in the first place? Apparently I liked the Akira character not Yamapi the actor and I just had to find it out the hard way. Couldn't get over how un-improved he is over the courses of his dramas after that. He's still the most over-rated young lead actor in JE in my book. That kinda pisses me off considering how many potential lead actors in the jimusho whose far superior talents are overlooked just because they don't have his looks. It's a sad and unfair situation, but that's entertainment world for you. And I still can't believe how he never tries to improve his acting and got even worse with each stint.
Aaand I feel like I should've posted this in Yamapi's thread instead. _________________

OH GREAT, the wood/plank/lumber allusions again. Right on schedule. I'd better start calling the two of you "geppetto-racer" and "Anime Geppetto", hmmm?
After a really great first episode, this thing is going rapidly downhill. It seems like it's being written by a committee and everybody wants to make sure their part gets put in.

I just finished it 2 weeks ago, had the same opinion, few others did too. But about 1/2 thru episode 4 it really picked up again, so many twists kept arising, epidodes 1-4 I would rate about 5/10, but the remaining episodes are closer to a 9. _________________
Saw the first couple of eps of Magerarenai Onna. After the first 15 mins of the first ep I wasn't sure I was going to continue watching because I wasn't really liking the characters. Yet I continued with ep 2 and overall I have to say the show has something that makes it enjoyable for me. Although I noticed some repetition and with only two eps that can't be a good sign.
This is a great series, try it out if you like quality drama.

Watched another episode of Magerarenai Onna last night. It was quite good, some surprises but the characters felt the same in this episode (little developement), which is strange because they all went through some big changes.

I'm definately going to watch this since I'm a big Miho Kanno fan. Thx for the heads up.
I'm currently watching Magerarenai Onna, Code Blue 2, Naka nai to Kimeta hi, and Hitsudan Hostess SP _________________

I was so disappointed by this after the great first episode. The whole thing just descends into a complete mess.
Up to episode eight of Ninkyo Helper. Very impressive so far, it's both intelligent and involving. Although Kuroki Meisa has to be one of the least convincing yakuza I've ever seen.

I must admit that we enjoyed it too. A pleasant drama is how Id describe it.
Up to episode 7, they are quite consistent, when you said we enjoyed it too have to agree, this is actually a good family drama. So, so predictable but thru eopisode 7 would have to recommend this for family viewing.

Love and Farm is now wrapped up, solid drama though nothing special, though it is a good family show. Final rating of 7/10, I'll recommend it just don't go in thinking it's going to be anything suspenseful, or thought provoking or even remotely exciting, but it was also good to see Ren Osugi with a bigger part, like his Sabu/Miike roles more though. Now on to....The Quiz Show, really looking forward to it. _________________

Popped in Jikou Keisatsu while waiting for Hotman to arrive... I didn't read up at all on the series beforehand so I had no idea what to expect but it's very funny sofar (Ep. 1)

It's a kooky drama, especially the characters at the police station.
