I'm double dipping. Decided to overlap Couple Or Trouble with
Coffee Prince.
Shades of Goldie Hawn.... Couple Or Trouble is the Korean version of Overboard.... This will be very interesting to see how they manage to stretch a normal time span movie into umpteen episodes; and to see how a Korean director treats this hilarious comedy.
OMG! The character of Anna as portrayed by Han Ye Seul is one of my favourite characters of all time. Especially when she looses her memory. Such fun! _________________
I'm giving Coffee Prince a 9/10. I still am not familiar with Kactor names.
The leading gal is fun to watch. I need to see her in something else to form an opinion about her. The initial attempt to throw indecision about her gender made it difficult for me to see her as a beauty. No I was not deceived. I knew she was a guwl.
Moving right along with Couple Or Trouble. Despite having seen the Goldie hawn version of this tale, I'm enjoying the hell out of this Kdrama. In fact I like it better than the American movie. Wyn chan you are right, the gal playing Anna is an awesome actress.
Watching the first few epis of Swallow The Sun again.... just want to refresh my memory of what you'll see (Wyn chan) when you start it. For me it is incredibly addictive. I started from the beginning at the spa on the elliptical machine and am now hooked into the 3rd episode already (no not at the spa, at home).
After watching the Olympics recaps last night, I continued watching Couple or Trouble.... and continued and continued until 6am this morning when I finished the last 5 hours..... It was impossible to stop.
I will have to give this an easy 9/10. What a charming, romantic, comedic wonderful drama. Anna aka Sangshill will stick in my mind for a long time. I will watch many portions of this fanciful fairy like drama again and again. This is now on my 'feel good' dramas shelf along with Churasan and Kekkon Dekinai Otoko.
Wyn chan if it were not for your insightful ability to know what I would like, never would I have chosen this gem of Kdramas.
To anyone who wants to feel good during and after a drama, watch this.
I need to see more of Sangshill.... what else is she in that is also a feel good drama please?

Hmmm... I'll have to see what I have of hers to send you.
Btw, I finished converting Full House, My Girl, and Dal Ja's Spring, so I'll be sending it out this week!
Also, I'm on disc 7 of Swallow the Sun. What a fascinating drama! I'm watching it with my sister, and she was rather surprised that you enjoyed this drama, Ralph. She's exactly like you in taste and isn't enjoying it as much as I am. _________________

I was completely drawn in to this drama. Hard to put my finger on exactly why. But let's see, there's Sung Yuri as well as the other cuties, enjoy casinos having once been a losing gambler, beautiful golf course scenes, the rythm of the drama is fast paced which I like and, perhaps the glue that holds it all together the magnificent music themes. Not to mention superb ensemble cast with very realistic acting. Admitedly there were moments when the story was a bit flaky but easy to ignore those parts.
And every so often I click on it where I still have it on my computer from when I authored it and end up watching one or more episodes. Just incredibly addictive for me.

Did your sister like Couple Or Trouble?
She loved it. I think Anna is one of her favourite characters as well. I told her you were enjoying it and she wants to watch it again to share in your enjoyment.
I'm really REALLY enjoying Swallow the Sun. I LUFF Jackson. What an amazing character. As well as President Jang. Man, I think I might have a crush on him... _________________

Jackson is a great character and epitomizes how I like a strong male to be in a drama. President Jang is an amazing actor. Kim Jong Wu is very cool; he had to study some martial arts for the part. I like the way they played the two borthers against each other.
Did you finish yet? I know you are close to the ending if you watched Disc 7 yesterday.
I went to the spa today and took the last epi of Couple with me. I watched the entire epi again on the elliptical machine. Watching anything other than Kuraki Mai while working out shows you how much I like this drama.
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
I just love these kinds of endings... reminds me of Pride, Love Generation, Last Christmas, Star No Koi, Honma Mon and on and on.
Why would any one watch a depressing ending when there are so many feel good endings.

NHK to co-produce and air Korean drama "Bad Boy"
Major Japanese broadcaster NHK has decided to co-produce and air SBS drama "Bad Boy" even ahead of its run in Korea.
According to Good Story on Wednesday, NHK has agreed to jointly produce the drama set to air in May in Korea and also broadcast the series on Japanese public TV in 2011.
"The audience trusts in director Lee Hyung-min, director of other hits such as 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' and 'Snow Queen,' to produce the next 'Hallyu drama,' Good Story said of the reason NHK chose to produce and air the show.
"Bad Boy" will star Korean actor Kim Nam-gil who has a never-fulfilled ambition for life and love and Han Ga-in, who will fill the role of the tough yet realistic female who uses her charms to climb the social ladder.
Production for the drama has been ongoing since last Friday in Nagoya, Japan.

I am pleased to hear that Kim Nam Gil will be in a new drama. He was the most exciting thing about 'Queen SeonDeok' He is a fine actor plus extremely attractive. Hope there will be more news about this.
She looks a lot like Sung Yuri. I'm still very vague on Korean names. Have I seen her in a drama yet? Is this a Korean thing that sly sexy sideways look?

Queen SeonDeok is currently airing in our local TV.......... my sisters love it and keep on telling me that it's as great as Jumong. Maybe I should give it a try.
