Yeah.....you'll bleed more and it'll hurt Any reputable place would NOT tattoo someone drunk. My friend has gotten a LOT of tattoos lately. And she wants more.....she got 4 just this past month She wants like 3 more, one of which is a "sleeve" on her upper arm For me, I am only scared of getting tattoos that would show if I got a job or something. For girls it's more of a big deal. Guys get a lot of arm and back tats that can be hidden by clothes when they go to work. I wouldn't get arm tattoos because for some girls it either looks ghetto or butch. I would be likely to get my lower back done, back of one shoulder, and maybe something on my ankles (but then wtf do I do when I have a real job and wear a skirt? )

You do realize that guys will just use that for target practice right? You could always get one on the belly, that area is at least conciealable, otherwise. I like the ankle area, imho.

Mmm hm, indeed. I mean, tattoos end up looking like a nondescript spot on ya'll's skin once its elasticity disappears (i.e., wrinkles), no?
Ahochaude, you mentioned that you were laser surgery'ing a few tattoos off, right?

| Kouseiya wrote: | | For me, I am only scared of getting tattoos that would show if I got a job or something. | Yup. Don't be stupid like me and get tattoos on your hands. (I did it when I was 12 ) Hard as hell to get a job which is why currently I'm removing it by laser surgery. (The ones on my hands ONLY)
| Niko2x wrote: | | lower back? You do realize that guys will just use that for target practice right? | Dirtiy guy!
| Niko2x wrote: | | You could always get one on the belly, that area is at least conciealable, otherwise. I like the ankle area, imho. | Eww. Belly, not a good choice for a woman (IMO). I like my women feminine. On the lower back is cool but on the ankle is even better!
| bmwracer wrote: | I have yet to understand the point in getting a tattoo... Could you guys share your thoughts on why you have or want to get one (or more)? | I always wanted a tattoo to represent myself in some kind of weird and subliminal way (now that I think about it), and now I embrace the fact that I got those tattoos for a reason in some certain point and time in my life. My tattoos (IMO) (whether anyone can tell or not-but that's ok 'cause it's only for ME) represent a certain stage that I was going through in a time of my life. Like some people say, it's a "body art". A "form of expression".
| bmwracer wrote: | | There's the contradiction: Cool today, stupid tomorrow... I mean, it's not like a haircut or something... It's near-permanent. | Which is why I make sure that whatever I'm going to get is what I really want. I get only whatever I'm sure that I'll stick with. Something that I vow to myself not to take off.
(Except for the ones on my hands..... those were from peer pressure when I was 12 and I know better not to do such again)
| The Man wrote: | | Mmm hm, indeed. I mean, tattoos end up looking like a nondescript spot on ya'll's skin once its elasticity disappears (i.e., wrinkles), no? | Yes, in time it will. But during my life at that time, I won't be taking off my shirt in public and whatnot.
| The Man wrote: | | Ahochaude, you mentioned that you were laser surgery'ing a few tattoos off, right? | Yes, my friend. Tattoos on 8 fingers. (Words on each hand's fingers) It's a bitch.
But hey, a lesson only to my benefit. At least I won't get any tattoos that I'll live to resent/regret.
I like my other tattoos. The ones on my fingers are gay, but they're almost invisible now. _________________

Whoa~ easy there with the huge ass fonts and stuff!
Yeah, I was hanging around with gang members at the time I got 'em.
(The bloods from Palolo Valley). (I also used to cruise with people from KPT--in my high school years though) But like I said, "Peer pressure", my friend. After all, I was 12 going on 13.
I get a lot of comments about them (tattoos). The people I meet comment about them saying I look like a movie from long time ago 'cause I get "Love" on the right hand and "Hate" on the left hand.
I just did it 'cause I thought I was "G". But obviously, I was just "Gay".
Whatevers.

Yeah, I probably would get addicted too, but I only have limited places to put things out of paranoia of looking ghetto, butch, the job thing, etc. I would never get anything on my arms, wrist, hands, thighs, back of my neck, or belly. Probably not the chest either. I'd do back of the shoulder, lowerback, ankles. I do want ankle tats and probably will get them. However, let's hope I don't wear skirts too often when I work in a professional position, lol. I'm even concerned about the back of the shoulder. Ya never know if one day I'll wear a backless dress to some big event or something. I remember in high school, a lot of girls had tats on the backs of their shoulders and had backless dresses at the prom. It looked like $hit. Like, formal....with something you can't hide. So I would think twice before that.
Anyhoo, my friend who's been getting tats lately wants even more. She already has: A black heart on fire on the back of her shoulder, a butterfly on her ankle, some tribal thing on her lowerback, and 2 big stars on each under part of both forearms. Now she wants somewhere on her body, an upperarm sleeve with vampires or something, and a fairy on her back.
