Just finished Buzzer Beat... cool!!! it made me a keiko-chan fan... lols.... I'm gonna watch Mop Girl next.... hope I'll enjoy it...

Keiko Kitagawa to play deaf role in "Hitsudan Hostess" drama Wed, November 25, 2009 (5:44am EST) Rising actress Keiko Kitagawa (23) will star in a drama special on TBS titled "Hitsudan Hostess." The story is based on the bestselling autobiography of 25-year-old Rie Saito, who became a number-one hostess in Ginza despite being deaf. "Hitsudan Hostess" was published by Kobunsha this past May, and so far it has sold roughly 115,000 copies. The book depicts the life of Saito, who was born in Aomori and became deaf at the age of 1 due to an illness. She rebelled against her strict parents, and she ran away from home several times as a youth. At a local club, she began taking an interest in "hitsudan" (communicating through writing), which she later made use of when she moved to Tokyo and became a popular hostess at a Ginza club. Kitagawa will play the part of Saito in the drama, with Yoshiko Tanaka (53) playing her mother. Kitagawa's role will be difficult as it has almost no lines, requiring her to express herself in a different way. The show, scheduled to air in January, will include an introduction by Saito herself.

haven't seen her in any doramas. btw is she and yamapi dating for real? they were caught together by paparazzi last year. they seemed too close after buzzer beat! uh...she used to date yamapi (2006?) and now, are they dating again?

^^ i dont think they dated, since i believed that Yamapi was busy with his then girlfriend (sorry the name doesnt register to me), but they were classmates in Meiji ahh so, now they are dating? hmmm ... so showbiz _________________ .... That's because this is ....

I'm still watching Buzzer Beat, she's an average actress for me and she's like an another Erika Sawajiri. Anyway, I got bored somehow in that dorama since it revolves mostly between her and YamaPi also, I don't like how YamaPi is when it comes to acting However, who wouldn't say that she's hot anyway? Fanboys would fall for her Japanese-girlfriend-to-be looks. But all in all, she acts just fine.. Thanks to her, she was the one who shouldered YamaPi in Buzzer Beat. _________________ On Sunday, October 24, 2010 at exactly 6pm (Philippine time) Utada Hikaru replied thrice to me on Twitter!

I thought she was okay in Mop Girl, but I think Tanihara Shosuke stole the show.

that's what I'm thinking too.... she did good in mop girl (currently watching) maybe I need another 1 drama of her... hehe

She actually caught my attention in Buzzer Beat somehow, I'm still at the point of 50-50 on my thoughts for her skills. I can see her shine in some moments. Let's see, I'll try Mop Girl now.
