Just of the top of my head,
Iguana no Musume
Ii Hito
and
Watshitachi no Kyokasho
The first two are from the late '90s when Kanno was just starting out and you could see even then she had the stuff. Although Ii Hito is more a vehicle for Kusanagi and Kanno has more of a supporting role, it's still one of my favorites! |
Thanks!

And though I absolutely, positively promised myself I'd wait until I had all of Fumo Chitai http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Fumo_Chitai recorded, and the subs in place, before I started watching again...
I gobbled up episodes 10 - 12.
I'll tell you... it's got a bit more melodrama in it than I normally care for. And on the surface, the story telling seems a bit shallow and inelegant.
But the episodes flick by in a heart beat. And at the end of each I reallllly want to move on to the next episode to see what happens.

Me too. Although the whole subplot involving Koyuki is more a distraction than anything else.

Over the weekend, I watched all 9 episodes of Liar Game 2, in my opinion, about the same as the first season, no big changes. I still love Erika Toda I'm looking forward to the movie conclusion, just so I can have closure.
But...

More than one episode.
OT: Jikou Keisatsu ep. 8. Yep, very familiar guests this episode :-) And totally crazy random things happening.

I started Oh Oku The War of the Belles last night,
http://www.jdorama.com/drama.958.htm
and I think I set a personal record here. I got half way through the first episode, turned it off... pulled out the disc... and put the series in the coaster pile.
I'm a big fan of Uchiyama Rina's, but no smile is pretty enough to get me to sit through that kind of drivel. _________________ Manga is to Literature
