And no gratuities are necessary, right?

Yes, that is correct. One time when I was staying at the Park Hyatt, I wanted to tip the waitress for her service...knowing that they don't accept tips. I actually went to my room, put the money in an envelope to be discreet...man, she really didn't want to accept it but I kindly insisted that she take it and after going back in forth a few times she finally took it and bowed deeply as I was leaving.

Tripped me out man. That type of experience is emblazoned in your head...you'll never forget it.

Way cool... It's the honor of being able to serve, as opposed to a job. Victory! Peace!

Really?

Living in the Phillipines/Pacific, I would have thought you'd have experienced a number of them... Shocked

When I lived in NoCal one of the ones we had made the landscape look like it was rolling waves. Surprisingly to me the horses didnt care at all. So much for animal instinct. Beaten

Lowe's won't sell me a shop vac for their online price if I walk into the store to buy it, however if I buy it online and pick it up at the store, that's okay... How asinine is that???? Grumble

LOL, the store manager at the Lowe's contacted me via email, insisting that the shopvac that was on sale was a completely different one than the one I saw online. Shake Head

Jeez, he's the store manager and is completely unaware... So I emailed him the link to that particular shopvac... Beat You

What a bunch of dopes.

What's completely annoying is when i meet with my former high school mates who are in another university and they just keep talking about it nonstop that I feel so left out. It's very boring and it's like I'm just sitting there and watching. Even if the subject gets changed, they always go back to talking about their first subject.

When will people try to learn to consider others and talk about something all people can relate to? Crazy

i know that Circuit City used to have different model numbers on their stuff... they'd add a letter to end of the # or something like that, so when you came in with an ad for the price match, you'd never get it. they did change it after someone sued though.

Email from Lowe's:

-------------------------
We do the same as far as matching our online price, however in this case, there is no need. I checked our system and that item is already on sale for $19.97 and we have 30 of them on hand. It is possible that the price change was not completed when you were in and has dropped since. Sorry for any misunderstanding. Once again, we will honor any of our online pricing, I just apologize that someone did not tell you that when you were in.
