Yes, I saw this on TV too. Good move on her part IMHO. I know a lot of people are not fond of her husband. Maybe they were hating and in disbelief she married him.

I personally thought it would have been better if she didn't marry him even though her career was going south at that time.

ya but theres a huge difference between Kusanagi Tsuyoshi ( SMAP ) and Sawajiri Erika.

This from Tokyograph re: the divorce, cracked me up: The report aired during "Mr. Sunday" seems to have taken many by surprise, including Takashiro himself. Commenting on the matter, he indicated that the news was a big shock to him, as talk of divorce has not come up before in his conversations with Sawajiri. When he was interviewed on Monday, he said that he had been unable to reach Sawajiri ever since the broadcast of "Mr. Sunday." >> Takashiro (with a quizzical look on his face) "Whaddya mean the number I've dialed is no longer working???"<<
