Movie 1 opened on December 19, 2009... Movie 2 opened this past Saturday, April 17.

yes, there are two movies. Movie 1 was screened in dec last year and movie 2 is now being screened in japan

Do you know what the bonus features are that are on the special DVD and not the Blu-ray? Also the Blu-ray is region free I was so happy when I saw that

I would think both would have the same features, but I can't be sure of that...
I have a Region-Free player, so the Region Code isn't an issue to me.
EDIT: From the Amazon Japan site, it "appears" that the DVD set (3 discs) has bonus features that the Blu-Ray (1 disc) does not... I would find that a bit hard to believe... If you really want the Blu-ray, more research is warranted.
