Fuurin Kazan episode 2-9
Episode 8 was very exciting. I am enjoying it. But the actor chosen for Takeda Shingen looked very plain/ordinary, even though he was good in his role.

NURSE AOI episode 07, I love Aoi-chan!!
Yeah, that is a good series, different from her other roles but she is so good in it.
Finished up Mop Girl, have to say I ended up really liking it. First 4 episodes I would only rate it a 7, almost thought about not finishing it, glad I did. Last 6 episodes were so good, the comedy and slap-sticking were oh so good, ended up with a final rating of 8.2/10, I'll watch it again for sure. Kitagawa and Tanihara made for a great duo, had quite a few good chuckles at their escapades, episode 7 was the best for them when they played that father/daughter role. _________________

The last episode was left wide open, but no sequel ever came out of it... Guess the ratings didn't merit it...

From the page here said it only averaged 10+, probably right about there not being a season 2, would have been better too if there had been 12 episodes instead of 10. _________________

The writers ran out of ideas.
Even though so many dramas are similar, they do a good job with finding ideas with new shows, we could probably take a lesson over here from them.
Next up is Hotaru no Hikari, seems quite a few in this thread have given it good reviews. _________________
Episode 3, Shinzanmono. Still kind of slow, but it looks like Meisa is going to get more involved in the next one, so hopefully it will start to pick up...

Fuurin Kazan 10-14
The pace is a bit slower than I like but this series continued to be engaging. The emotions and nuances of some key moments were not expressed as well as I hoped though... it could be I was not observant enough too.

I've always thought Fuurin Kazan was an overlooked taiga. That's kind of damning with faint praise when you realize that the three before it were Shinsengumi, Yoshitsune, and Kyoumei ga Tsuji, but I liked it.

Currently watching Tatta Hitotsu no Koi (ep 4 next), yeah I admit it, I'm a sucker for Kitagawa Eriko's doramas . But what can you do, her works are just too good. Don't know what am I going to do when I'll eventually run out of those Though (which is probably why I have been "saving" them and watching some randomly chosen doramas instead ). Luckily I really like other doramas too so maybe I'll be able to handle it .

I really like Eriko Kitagawa's doramas too. I have watch most of it, and most of it are my favourites too. Even though I'm not very happy with Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, it couldn't bring out Ayase Haruka's full potential and Kame's acting was lacky as well..
