eh.... was just wondering, how did you guys type the japanese characters in your posts???

I heard most schools in japan need the student to have at least a jlpt level 2 cert to gain admission into any courses... I also interested in going to japan... but i can see its not an easy task... need to be proficient in the language... need lots of money... etc etc Anyone knows of any schoolarship programmes? That subsidises or pay for your sch fees...

i did check about it.. realised actually there is something called college preparatory course that allows you to learn enough japanese to get into a japanese university.. provides dorms too.. but not sure what is the requirement to get in.. either o lvl or a lvl.. the course is set by the japan ministry of education and after completeing the course you will be eligible for japanese university..

n i heard that education standard in japan is pretty high...
that definitely wont be a suitable place for me..

i installed this language pack that comes along with windows xp

if your windows is windows 98 like mine, you can go to microsoft website---->language support. Download the free software from there. there are actually two kinds, one enables u to read japanese, the other enables you to write japanese ..hope this info helps

heh heh ...me too...i will always try to check up the words when i encounter them but then my dictionary is too limited...thinking of buying a new one...anyone got any reccomendation?manual or electronic???one thing good abt electronic is that it has kanji dictionary incorporate in it as well so less troublesome...demo...very ex...so have to think twice abt buying it... I always use online dictionaries.. think its easier to search for what you are looking for. Thats why you have that option above in the search box. hehe

hey mayumi.. your chinese name is pronounced as [li kai ling] if you know hanyu pinyin it would be better.. do you?

yeah in chinese it's pronounced li kai ling, but is that how you say it in Japanese too?!

After my Japanese Community board becomes a bit more popular, I'll start a poll which of the learning videos the users want... After That I'll put them on my webspace one by one, for everyone who is interested in learning Japanese. Just be a bit patient please
