Episode 3 was another good episode, though we're still pretty much kept in the dark about Aoyama Ami's (Kuroki Meisa) involvement in the story other than she's shacking up with the murdered woman's son... I think it might be a set up for some shocking revelation later...

The ending of each episode is getting to be JIN-like: an emotional, teary-eyed conclusion/resolution of Kaga's (Abe Hiroshi) investigation... Not saying that it's bad, but it is getting rather redundant. Sweat

Abe is still the standout here: he dominates every scene without having to try very hard... And his stealthy, Columbo-like reappearances at the suspect's door always makes me chuckle. Smile

The guy who acted as the murdered woman's ex-husband, isn't he Yamaguchi's husband ? This drama is supposed to be mystery but it is making me hungry every episode. The endings are ......hmmmm......mushy. Sounds more like a family drama. Did Abe Hiroshi really put that whole spoonful of wasabi into his mouth or was that green tea coloured mash that looked like wasabi ? Anyway, I learn a new prank.....wasabi........hee hee.

just watch eps 3 the storyline is always the same (so far) so sometimes it's a bit boring but who cares, as long as Abe is there can't wait to watch ep 6 since Abe will be playing together with Tanihara Shosuke my duo fave!!

.....i wouldn't have continued if Abe Hiroshi wasn't there. He held up the whole show. The last epi has gone by and now I'm going back to first epi.......finding the details that i missed. Does anyone know what is the significance of the opening scene (some commotion in the shop and someone is ferried in an ambulance during a storm)?

I agree with you.. I watch Shinzanmono just because Abe was in it viva ABE!! you mean the opening in 1st ep?? I think it was when the grandma got sick and taken to hospital later it turned out that she had a cancer but was faked as an inflamed gallbladder in the health document or whatever it called CMIIW (forgive my bad english )
