Hitomi ep 20. OK. I'm sold on this asadora. A little sappy at times but very endearing. In fact this represents what I like about Jdramas, the complete slate of Japanese home, school, work life in excellent detail. A wonderful in depth experience in the Japanese culture at the grass roots level. No glossy police stations just mimiking the usual American TV junk, no endless teen school rebellion a la Gokusens. etc. The little girl who plays Yuria is an exceptional actor for such a young age. I wonder how those little ones can display such ranges of emotions - of course the director must take a deep bow for his talent in extracting these roles. I hope Hitomi will maintain this level of excellence for the duration of the series.

I'm liking it too. I thought the scene in today's episode was hilarious with Nishida and the other guy going back and forth,

Nishida: "�G" (picture - pronounced "eh")

Other guy: "eh?" (confused)

Nishida: "�G!!"

Other guy (STILL confused) "eh?"

The only thing I've seen her in is Dekichatta Kekkon where she played Takenouchi's goofy Mom.

Do you watch every Churasan episode? I pick and chose. I particularly bypass the goyaman story line.

As for Dal Ja's Spring I'm worried about running out of episodes. It is so good.
I'm starting to ration my daily watch allocation.
