Seriously. That's why I am the fence about watching it in IMAX, the huge IMAX screened theater at the Promenade @ Howard Hughes Parkway is charging about 17 dollars for an IMAX showing. That's quite a lot! They've raised their prices.

Back from watching Inception a couple of hours ago... Wild movie.
It's like a mix of The Matrix and Mission Impossible.
It's rather confusing if you don't pay complete attention all the time and even then the movie has you wondering... I kept thinking about the movie (and the ending) throughout my entire drive back home... Very thought provoking.
The movie's almost 2-1/2 hours long, but it never dragged.
Highly recommended.

Yeah, I saw it last night. I also thought of the Matrix as I watched it. That ending...It's one you discuss on the drive home.
I'm also recommending this film.
DiCaprio is having a good year, both movies have been great.

The one with Jennifer Lopez in the mind of a serial killer?
Didn't care for that flick at all... Actually, most films about serial killers are a turn-off for me... Too much of the dark side of human nature for me.

Ya know, other than the initial reaction to the film once it started, I didn't find it that confusing to understand. In fact, I found some of the explanations doubtful.
That being said, it was a grand film. I loved the concept, and the movie had quite a few "wow" scenes. My favourite has it be:

the scene in the hotel's hallway (second level of dreams) while the van (first level) is flipping down a hill by the bridge. The whole fight scene was awesome and it was almost a continuous shot. I was totally blown away with the tech of it all!
I loved the idea of the wife and what they did to that character. Lots of growth and depth there, which is surprising since we don't see this in high special effects films.

I'm sure the DVD release will have a segment on how they achieved that effect.
I've seen it before in other movies/shows: Royal Wedding (with Fred Astaire and Jane Powell) and the recent Ueno Juri to Itsutsu no Kaban...

I thought long and hard about it on the drive home from the theater, but I couldn't convince myself one way or another.
Without a doubt, it's the best movie I've seen this year.
