I really enjoyed Shiroi Haru (White Spring). The little girl grows on you and becomes cuter as the series goes on. My brother-in-law told me she's a singer!

Just got back into drama again,, I need something funny/comedy with any other genre combination (preferrably romance),, any suggestion guys? I went on hiatus from 2008. So anything beetwen 2008 till now would be good.

Oh I am in the same position as you. I was away the past couple of years and am looking for recent dramas 2008+ that are really good. Also prefer romance or comedy but open to anything really good.

I am not an expert on comedy or romance dramas. (The former I mostly find rather silly than funny, the later often lack a story beside the core romance for my taste.)
But as far as 2008+ comedy goes, I liked Seigi no Mikata very much.
And Love Shuffle is a recent drama that was good and kind of fits into 'romance drama'.

For more recent romance/comedy dramas, check out "Massugu na Otoko" & "Ohitorisama". Both very good and from the same writer as "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko" - my all time favorite Jdrama! [/quote]

Don't have ultra-high expectations for that drama.

Hi minna.
I am just a newbie in the jdorama's world.
I just started watching japanese dramas last year.
My favorite dramas are: (in no particular order) Nobuta wo Produce, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, Bloody Monday 1 & 2, Liar Game 1 & 2, Proposal Daisakusen, Taiyou no Uta, HYD 1 & 2 and uhh... Gokusen.
Maybe there's more but.. I dunno...
I like suspense, or anything romantic comedy. Umm.. just want to know what can you guys recommend for me to watch next? I have a copy of Buzzer Beat but I feel reluctant to watch it...
