In honor of Nagareboshi's premier on the 18th I'd like to round up all the professions Yutaka's had throughout his acting career. Feel free to add the ones I missed and tell us your favorite!
Aquarium employee - Nagareboshi

Psychiatrist - Psycho Doctor
Police Detective - Ningen No Shumei, Samayou Yaiba, Rondo
Insurance investigator - Ice World

Business Elite - Kazoku, Beach Boys, Fumo Chitai
Painter/Artist - Calmi Couri Appasionati
Commercial Director - Dekichatta Kekkon
Teacher - Yankee Bokou Ni Kaeru
Hairdresser - Ruri No Shima
Unemployed, all around bum but with various jobs at different times - Seikimatsu No Uta, Merry Christmas in Summer, Beach Boys, Ruri No Shima
I love him as a lawyer, only because he's absolutely gorgeous in all those well cut suits.
I think it would be fun to see a continuation of his hair dresser character from Ruri No Shima.
He should try a chef character next! I would love to see him cook, like he did in some scenes in Kazoku. Also, he's never tried an athletic character - a gymnast, a tennis player, a swimmer (oh yum! wet and in a Speedo? yes please), a soccer player. Those could be interesting.
Johnny's member Kiriyama Akito is also starring in Nagareboshi and this is what he had to say about our Takenouchi-san:
