Bara no nai Hanaya, this one, I cried alot (yes it's been awhile i cried to a dorama/movie). Bara no nai Hanaya has many good points, the story is strong, very nice plotting, the flow is good and also nice actor/actresses, I really recommend you this one if you are looking for a good tearjerker dorama.
Wasn't really looking for a tearjerker, you sold me on it though, cast looks really good, downloading now. _________________

I recently watched "Ace wo Nerae," I really took a liking to Yoshizawa Hisashi. He doesn't seem very well-known. I read that some of his other movie/drama roles weren't so great, so I was wondering, if anyone here knows a good drama or movie starring Yoshizawa?

I like Algernon ni Hanataba wo, Japanese remake of Flowers for Algernon. But like a lot of his drama, he only had a small role in this one.
He was the lead for Dobutsu no Oisha-san, but not much story in that series, I watched a couple of episodes and stopped. He was the male lead in a movie with Takeuchi Yuko, but not sure if it was good or not.

I googled his name and was like, "Wait a minute. Isn't that Yoshizawa Yu?" I had no idea he had changed names. No wonder I didn't recognize it!
I remember watching him play minor characters in a lot of dramas in the late 90s~early 00s. As for more recent stuff, you might enjoy him in Bloody Monday 1 & 2. Also, if you want to see him play a total nerd, check him out in GM. He was such a hilariously geeky character in that. XD

I'm searching for a very, VERY sad drama.

So, it shouldn't have comedy, certainly not! And it should be a "new" drama (2010-2007), 2004/2005 is too old.
Ok, I know you said 2004/2005 is too old. I have to say though that "Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu" is probably the single saddest dorama I've seen.
Usually I'll get a little teary eyed during sad dramas but don't full-out cry. However, I don't think there was a single episode where I wasn't crying while watching this.
I highly recommend it despite being from 2004.
Thank you,

Hi,
I'm new to jdrama, just finished watching Ichi Ritoru no Namida and I'm looking for any similiar drama, sad and tear jerking. Also I'm looking for comedies similiar to Densha Otoko.

looking for something that is totally stress-free, have some funny/interesting moments, not too long ago (probably at least year 2002 onwards), one or two ikemen will be great (if none also fine), medium to fast paced, something that is worth watching. I have already watched most i can in the top 100 list...
